Everyone dreams of Santorini and Mykonos—the classic white-washed villages, blue-domed churches, and jaw-dropping sunsets.
But here’s the thing… the best way to see them isn’t by ferry or crammed into a tourist-packed hotel. It’s by yacht! Let’s talk about the best 7-day Greece Cyclades itinerary, starting and ending in Mykonos.
Kick things off with a short sail to Syros, the cultural capital of the Cyclades. Think grand architecture, charming alleyways, and some of the best local tavernas. It’s got a totally different vibe from Mykonos—more laid-back, but with a rich history to explore.
Then head to Paros where you can find a little bit of everything—stunning beaches, charming villages, and just the right amount of nightlife. You can spend the day at the beach, where the rock formations look like you are in another world, then head to Naoussa for a sunset dinner by the water.
Milos might be my favorite stop in this itinerary — its is an absolute dream. You can’t visit without checking out Kleftiko, a hidden cove with caves you can only reach by boat. Then there’s Sarakiniko Beach, where the white volcanic rock makes it look like you’ve landed on the moon.
Then the showstopper – Santorini!
And trust me, arriving by yacht is the best way to take in those epic caldera views. Spend the day exploring, sip on some local wine, and end with the most famous sunset in the world.
After Santorini, it’s time to switch things up on the way back towards Mykonos! Ios is all about golden beaches and, if you’re up for it, some of the best nightlife in the Cyclades. But it’s not just a party island—there are some gorgeous quiet spots too if you’re looking to chill.
From there, head to Naxos – a hidden gem. It’s bigger, greener, and way less crowded than Mykonos or Santorini. You’ve got ancient ruins, hiking trails, and long sandy beaches—perfect for a more relaxed vibe before heading back.
And just like that, we’re back in Mykonos after 7 amazing days in the Cyclades! Wrap up your trip with one last sunset in Little Venice or go all out at a beach club—because if there’s one place to celebrate an incredible week on the water, it’s Mykonos.
This is how you do the Cyclades—by yacht. Ready to start planning? Reach out!
