Because the generator is doing so much, it isn’t always designed to run continuously for 24 hours a day.

For another, it may mean:

And on another yacht, it could mean something entirely different.
This is why we always recommend asking for the exact operating schedule rather than assuming what “overnight” includes.
Ask About Daytime Air Conditioning Too
Many guests assume they’ll have air conditioning whenever they’re inside the yacht.
That isn’t always the case.
Questions worth asking include:
- Is the air conditioning available during the afternoon?
- Can it be run while the yacht is underway?
