Are you thinking about chartering and yacht and wondering what each day will be like?
Let’s talk about what your week will be like on a private yacht charter. First things first. You can always see land and you have the opportunity to get off the boat and go on land daily.
Arrival & Boarding:
Depending on your yacht, boarding can happen anytime between 12pm and 5pm. Some boats are ready right after lunch, while others may need extra time to turn around from the previous charter.
All charters start with a quick safety briefing, just to make sure you know the important things, like how to use the life jackets and where the champagne is stored. 😎
From there, the adventure begins. It might be a calm bay, a lively beach bar, or a hidden island where you’ll anchor for the night.
As for the day-to-day, you choose your adventure.
Every morning, your captain will chat with you about the weather, nearby spots to explore, and what kind of day you want. From action-packed to totally chill. If you want to snorkel a reef, explore a local island town, go hiking, scuba diving, check out a famous beach bar, or go on a history tour, your crew can help plan it all. From private excursions to restaurant reservations, or even just a beach picnic.
All yachts have a dinghy to take you back and forth from shore, so if you’re out late, your captain will come get you. So, if you want to party until midnight or beyond? You absolutely can.
Let’s talk a bit about Anchoring and Mooring vs staying Marinas:
Some nights you’ll anchor in a calm bay, other times you may tie to a mooring ball or dock at a marina—especially if you want to explore a town. If you have a preference to be docked in a marina at night, make sure to talk to your captain or broker in advance so they can arrange reservations (they book up fast during peak season.
So whether your vibe is beach bars and island hopping or quiet coves and sunset swims, your yacht charter is completely customized. The crew is here to make it unforgettable—so don’t be shy, speak up, and say what you want out of each day.
