Jan has been in the charter business for more than 25 years in Norway. He is discrete and goes on with his job without creating any attention – to the guests there are never any noticeable mechanical problems. Jan has lived on the West Coast all his life and his personal contacts make it possible for Anne Viking to visit private places that are not open to public visitors. Together with the Captain he will be able to arrange almost anything that the guests have in mind and makes last minute changes possible should the guests wish to change their schedule as the days go by.

Grete has a business degree but started working as a waitress at the age of fifteen. She serves food and beverages to the highest standard of service and is also familiar with barbeque cooking and cold meal preparation. Involvement with many different service projects such as weddings, christenings, private parties and company gatherings has helped her to develop knowledge of every level of service. As a crewmember of Anne Viking she knows the fjords on the West Coast well. She is professional and enjoys making sure the guests onboard will have a pleasant stay.

Bjørn grew up in Stavanger and started his education to become a chef at “Sola Strand hotel” before continuing as an apprentice at “SAS ROYAL Atlantic hotel.” After completion he spent 18 months in the Royal Navy and one-year at business school before working as a professional chef.

Following his restaurant experience Bjørn took his exam at the “Gastronomic institute” to become a diploma chef and has now worked more than 8 years as an independent consultant in companies named “Kulinaria” and “Matkurs.no”
Bjørn’s food is international and inspired by the Mediterranean kitchen, with influences of local Norwegian produce. He is a very friendly person that always does his best to satisfy the requirements of the guests.

Arild has 10 years experience as an officer on different vessels in the North Sea and along the Norwegian coast. He has a Certificate as a Master Mariner and has worked as a pilot in the area for the past 4 years in addition to 15 years of experience from working on charter boats along the West Coast of Norway. Arild knows the area very well and thanks to his contacts among the local residents, he can make a charter very different from what a foreign yacht can offer. He speaks English and some German as well as his mother tongue language, Norwegian.
Arild knows how important it is to have satisfied charter guests onboard and can guarantee that the rest of the crew will do everything possible to ensure that the guests have a pleasurable experience. He looks forward to the opportunity to show the charter guests some of the most beautiful parts of his Norway in good comfort onboard Anne Viking and will not be satisfied unless the charter guests say that they would like to return.

Experience the wild and spectacular nature up close aboard the 25-meter Princess yacht ANNE VIKING: 2,000-meter high mountains, 1,000-meter tall cliffs and 1,300-meter deep fjords. ANNE VIKING cruises in narrow waters and will take you close to waterfalls, cliffs, old fishing villages and historic sites. A ride on the world's steepest railway and glacier exploring are some of the activities offered onboard. Guests can also go fishing with experienced fishermen on fjords and rivers. The Captain can organize kayaking, sea rafting, horse-and-buggy rides and a tour of a Norwegian fish farm. He can also arrange for guests to see the fjords, mountains, waterfalls and glaciers from a helicopter or seaplane.
ANNE VIKING is designed to provide a pleasurable and eventful holiday in the West Norwegian fjords. The vessel is custom built, with two large double cabins and two twin cabins. All cabins have their own en-suite bathroom as well as a TV and CD/DVD players. The vessel has wireless Internet access throughout as well as air conditioning.
The lounge is fitted with clear-varnished cherry wood paneling, light carpeting and comfortable furniture. It has panoramic windows, which provide natural light and magnificent views. The lounge features a fully integrated audio visual system incorporating 42" plasma TV, home cinema, DVD and multi disc CD player. Forward of this spacious lounge is the dining room, which seats eight guests comfortably.
The vessel has a large aft deck also seating eight where guests can dine or enjoy a glass of wine while watching the soothing Norwegian landscape. The large fly bridge also boasts comfortable seating as well as a bar, grill, sun lounger and a bimini top.
