Dang Minh Phuc is an accomplished maritime professional with over 13 years of seafaring experience working aboard river cruise ships and vessels. Phuc embarked on his maritime career path in 2006 by enrolling at the prestigious Maritime College No. 1 in Vietnam. After graduating with a degree in Ship Navigation in 2010, he set sail as a Sailor with Tan Phu Shipping Co., Ltd. Over the next few years, Phuc continued honing his skills with luxury cruise companies where he applied his expertise to river cruise ships cruising the iconic Mekong River. In 2014, Phuc joined the ranks of Aqua
Expeditions as a Deckhand aboard Aqua Mekong. This marked the start of over a decade-long tenure with rapid career advancement. Within a year, he was promoted to 3rd Officer, followed by 2nd Officer in 2016, and then 1st Officer in 2020.
Phuc's proficiency is validated by an impressive array of certifications including a Captain 1st Grade License, Crowd Management, Security Awareness, and specialized maritime training certificates. He is well-known for his problem-solving skills, management acumen, communication abilities, and empathetic support of his crew. With over 15 years of seafaring experience on river cruise vessels, Le Van Nhien has seen a career of rapid progress through the ranks, showcasing his leadership abilities and commitment to ship operations and safety. Nhien embarked on his maritime journey in 2009 as a Sailor with a luxury cruise ship company. His skills and dedication were quickly recognized, leading to promotions to first officer in 2013 and then captain from 2015 to 2020. As captain from 2015-2020, Nhien assumed full oversight of the vessel's critical operations. His nautical expertise and commitment to safety were paramount in this leadership position.
After a brief hiatus, Nhien joined Aqua Expeditions in 2022 as a second officer aboard Aqua Mekong. Leveraging his years of ship experience, he now conducts critical tasks that ensure smooth passage and safety of all crew and passengers on board. His qualifications are underscored by an array of certifications including a Captain's License 2nd Grade, Tourism and Hospitality Certificate, Inland Waterway Safety Certificate, Swimming Certificate, and Fire Fighting Certificate.

Pham Quoc The is a highly experienced maritime engineer with a solid educational background and extensive hands-on experience in ship engine repair and operations. Graduating from Transportation Waterway 2 in 2009, The has advanced in his career, showcasing exceptional technical skills and leadership. He started with VINACAM Transportation Co., Ltd as an oiler on the Vinacam 16 from 2009 to 2012, then joined a luxury cruise company as a 1st Engineer from 2009 to 2016.
In 2016, The transitioned to Aqua Expeditions Cambodia Co., Ltd, initially serving as a mechanic on the Aqua Mekong before advancing to 1st Engineer in 2017, and then Chief Engineer in 2020. His comprehensive understanding of maritime engineering systems has ensured the smooth and safe operation of the vessel's mechanical functions. The’s qualifications are extensive, including a Chief Engineer license 1st grade, various safety and security certifications, and specialized training in tourism hospitality and crowd management. Fluent in multiple maritime systems and protocols, he is known for his problem-solving skills, management capabilities, and effective communication.

Long is an accomplished marine engineer with over 15 years of experience working on river cruise ships. After graduating with a degree in Repair and Operate Ship Engines from Maritime College No. 2 in 2009, he embarked on his career as a mechanic with a luxury cruise company. Steadily advancing through the ranks, Long served as a 1st Engineer and then Chief Engineer on various vessels from 2011-2014 with increasing responsibilities over engines, systems, and maintenance.
From 2014-2017, Long applied his expertise as the Chief Engineer for Aqua Expeditions aboard Aqua Mekong. He masterfully managed the entire engine department, maintenance programs, bunkering operations, and ensured safe operations. He returned in 2023 as 1st Engineer with Aqua Expeditions where he now oversees all main and auxiliary engines, propulsion, steering, firefighting, water treatment, and automation systems.

Vo Truong Long

Duc has over 18 years of experience as an electrician and chief electrician in the electrical refrigeration and marine industries. He began his career path by obtaining a diploma in Electrical Refrigeration Engineering from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in 2007. He spent the first few years of his career until 2010 working as an electrician at Thanh My Dien Lanh before transitioning to the maritime world. From
2010 to 2014, Duc broadened his maritime experience as a ship electrician with a luxury cruise company. In this role aboard a river cruise vessel, he was tasked with maintaining the air conditioning systems and overseeing the repair and upkeep of all other onboard electrical equipment.
Duc has been Aqua Mekong’s chief electrician since 2014, ensuring the proper operation of all power and electrical systems, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and managing subordinate engineering staff. His extensive certification includes an IMO basic training certificate, tourism/hospitality certificate, inland waterway certificate, swimming certificate, watchkeeping certificate, and mechanic certificate.

Kim Davet, a distinguished sous chef, has built a robust career characterized by high culinary standards and exceptional kitchen leadership. Originating from Cambodia’s Krom Province, Kim has showcased his culinary talents for nearly two decades. Since 2015, he has been serving as a prep kitchen supervisor for Aqua Expeditions, where he plays a crucial role in maintaining high culinary standards and overseeing kitchen operations. Besides stints in hotels and cafes since 2008, his journey in the culinary world includes significant roles such as chef de partie and salaf chef on different luxury cruise ships from 2010 to 2015.
Kim’s formal education in hospitality and culinary arts was acquired at PSE Hotel and Catering School. His studies also included housekeeping and laundry operations, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the hospitality industry. Fluent in Khmer, English, and Vietnamese, Kim is known for his excellent communication skills and his ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.

Hoeum has been sharing the wonders of Cambodia with visitors for over 20 years. Born and raised in Siem Reap Province, he possesses an innate understanding and passion for his homeland's rich culture, history, and natural attractions. His journey into the tourism industry began in 2002 as a freelance tour guide in the iconic Angkor Archaeological Park. His depth of knowledge about Angkor continues to impress guests to this day. In 2004, Hoeum transitioned to a resident tour guide role with Angkor Empire Travel and Tours. This enabled him to expand his expertise beyond just the
Angkor region to encompass other areas of Cambodia through innovative tour offerings like cycling experiences from Vietnam to Cambodia's top attractions. Hoeum's greatest professional passion has been serving as a naturalist and expeditions guide aboard luxury river cruise ships like Aqua Expeditions since 2012. Complementing over two decades of practical guiding is his completion of specialized tour guide training programs. He is fluent in both Khmer and English. Phi is a seasoned tour leader and guide with extensive experience across Vietnam and Southeast Asia. With a Bachelor’s degree in English from Văn Lang University and a specialized tour guide training from the University of Economics, he has spent over
15 years leading diverse groups through Vietnam's most iconic destinations, from bustling cities to remote landscapes.
He started out in 2007 as a full-time tour guide with an agency, where he honed skills leading a variety of tours, including trekking, birdwatching, and private itineraries. Later, he freelanced as a tour leader with several other agencies, as well as an English teacher in Ho Chi Minh. In an eight year-long term role as a Tour Leader with Intrepid Travel, Phi played a key role in launching new routes, managing tailor-made trips, and ensuring the success of cross-country itineraries across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Fluent in English, equipped with a fun personality, and with deep knowledge of Vietnam's history, culture, and natural landscapes, Phi is a favorite among guests.

Sony is a tour guide with over two decades of experience in the tourism industry. Specializing in guiding travelers through Vietnam and Cambodia, Sony has built a reputation for providing insightful and engaging experiences for a diverse range of international guests. He began his career in the early 2000s as a freelance guide for top agencies, leading both small and large groups on extended tours. From 2004 to 2011, he served as a trip leader, managing up to 18 passengers on long tours across Vietnam and Cambodia. Since 2011, he has worked as a freelance guide for prestigious cruise lines, leading luxury and adventure tours along the Mekong River.
