Sean grew up in a small town called Jeffreys Bay on the southeast coast of South Africa. Living near the sea nurtured his love for the water, and he enjoyed all kinds of water sports, from fishing and diving to surfing and surf lifesaving. These were also great excuses to escape his daily household chores. At the age of 18, Sean decided to follow his passion for the sea. He was fortunate to work on a yacht that hosts scientific expeditions in some of the world’s most remote locations. Over the years, he has gained experience working on busy private and charter yachts, and he’s always happy and ready to assist guests with any needs or activities. Sean’s main hobby is fishing, but when the weather doesn’t cooperate, he also enjoys golf, diving, and watching rugby or just about any sport.
