But it wasn’t long before the call of the ocean led him to pursue a new course—Marine Engineering. His seafaring career began aboard a cruise ship, and from the moment he stepped aboard, he was hooked.

Today, Lasse brings his expertise and steady presence to the world of yachting, where he ensures everything below deck runs like clockwork. Whether it’s a complex system or a minor detail, he tackles every challenge with quiet precision and dedication.

Off duty, Lasse is just as active—he’s an avid runner, hiker, and allaround sports enthusiast. He thrives outdoors and values time spent with family and friends, making him not just a top-tier engineer, but a fantastic team member and shipmate.

Beata, or Betti, as she likes to be known, grew up in Budapest, Hungary where she completed her culinary training. Her love of cooking stems from her father, who taught her the traditions of Hungarian cuisine, including those over an open
wood fire as a child.
Betti's passions are to travel, cook and learn new techniques and spent g years in Bristol, UK, where she developed her skills in sushi, pizza and Asian Fusion cuisine, before heading to a culinary school in Bangkok to learn Thai cuisine.
What Betti loves more than anything though, is to bake bread, and travels everywhere with her 22 years old starter dough. Betti has been working on yachts since 2017 as it combines her love of travelling and cooking.

Cass, a spirited South African originally from a farm near Cape Town, made the leap from the fast-paced world of advertising to the yachting industry three years ago—and hasn’t looked back since. Her journey has taken her from intimate 110’ yachts to 238’ superyachts, cruising through the Caribbean, the
Mediterranean, and across the North Atlantic.

With a background in media and a natural creative flair, Cass has a knack for capturing stunning moments—whether flying drones over dramatic coastlines or filming pods of dolphins on her GoPro. But her true passion lies in crafting unforgettable guest experiences.

Originally from a farm in South Africa, Nicola spent most of her life in the coastal town of Hermanus, where her love for the ocean and adventure began. A passionate athlete, she excelled in tennis and golf, and later earned a Business and Finance degree from Stellenbosch University and the University of Bath.

After her time in the UK, Nicola decided to pursue her long-held dream of a yachting career. Energetic, driven, and always up for a challenge, she brings a positive spirit and a strong work ethic to every journey at sea.

Hailing from South Africa, Tomas brings a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and energy to the deck. He holds a degree in Sports Management and Psychology from Nelson Mandela University, where he balanced his studies with hospitality work and earned a spot on the university’s top soccer team.

After completing his education, Tomas set his sights on the yachting world—combining his love for the ocean with his passion for active, hands-on work. Since completing his deckhand training, he has proven himself as a reliable, detail-oriented crew member who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

With salt in his veins and a Bordeaux charm to match, JD has spent his life chasing horizons. Born in 1983 in the heart of French wine country, his seafaring story began in Corsica, where he spent his youth racing dinghies and dreaming of oceans beyond.

That dream took shape quickly. JD has since completed 17 Atlantic crossings, crewed on world-traveling sailing yachts, and raced competitively across the Mediterranean. His talents eventually led him to the world of motor yachts, serving aboard C Star, Lady Christina, and Ice Angel before spending over five years on the iconic charter yacht Lady Britt—a floating legend in the industry—where he honed the art of delivering five-star experiences under pressure.

JD earned his MCA Master 3000GT ticket on the Isle of Wight, becoming the first cadet to obtain the certificate in 2015, a milestone following ten years of rigorous training and dedication.

His first command came aboard a 43m Mangusta Oceano, where he logged an impressive 32,000 nautical miles and four Atlantic crossings in just two years—a testament to his calm leadership, meticulous planning, and passion for performance.

Off the bridge, JD brings the same energy to life as he does to yachting. A self-proclaimed “noisy” tennis enthusiast, he once served as a line umpire at the French Open and even officiated the 2005 Ladies’ Final at Roland Garros. He’s also a keen skier, an avid sailor, and—naturally—a lover of a well-earned glass of Bordeaux.

Before joining the yachting world, Kelly spent over a decade as a conservation manager on a Big 5 game reserve, where she oversaw wildlife operations, environmental stewardship, and anti-poaching efforts. It was a role that demanded precision, courage, and leadership skills she now brings to the deck with confidence and calm authority.

As Chief Officer, Kelly combines her disciplined work ethic, love for the outdoors, and deep respect for the sea to create a safe, well-run, and high-performing deck team. She thrives in fast-paced environments and is known for her composed leadership and unwavering attention to detail.

Hailing from vibrant Cape Town, Jochen brings a unique blend of precision, passion, and creative energy to the engineering team. From building elaborate LEGO creations as a child to fine-tuning high-performance engines, his fascination with how things work has been lifelong.

In his 20s, Jochen’s love of fitness and adventure shifted gears into a full-blown obsession with cars—especially those that are fast, loud, and built to perform. Today, he proudly holds the title of “car guy,” and brings that same drive and focus to his career at sea. Currently advancing his marine engineering journey, Jochen is working toward his Y3 Certificate of Competency, with big dreams on the horizon—including one day becoming a bush pilot, flying helicopters through remote wilderness.

Originally from Ipswich, England, Olivia—known fondly as Liv— brings a warm, can-do attitude and a wealth of guest service experience to life on board. Raised in her family’s pub, Liv began working from a young age, learning the fast pace and high standards of hospitality firsthand. By 13, she was helping her mother on busy weekends, and by 18, she was managing the restaurant—developing leadership skills and an impeccable eye for service.

After her early hospitality career, Liv completed a twoyear pharmaceutical apprenticeship, working as a pharmacy assistant. This experience sharpened her attention to detail, professionalism, and sense of responsibility—qualities she now brings to the interior team with precision and care.

Liv’s energetic, graceful nature shines through in her personal interests as well. She enjoys running, Pilates, and is an avid ballroom and Latin dancer—a passion that reflects her rhythm, discipline, and flair for presentation.
