George grew up in the UK, spending most of his holidays around the sea or on boats. This developed his passion for being on the water from a young age. Whilst studying accounting at university, George worked part-time as an instructor and skipper on smaller vessels. After completing his degree in 2022, George committed himself full-time to building a career in the yachting industry.
George has worked on several busy vessels within the industry prior to joining AHPO in January 2025.
In his free time, George stays very active and enjoys activities such as road cycling, hiking and football.

George Hadley

Nikita, originally from South Africa is now living in the UK with her husband and stepson. She has spentthe past four years working on some incredible 100m+ private and charter yachts.
Before yachting, she studied early childhood education and worked with little ones aged 4–7. she is a very sporty person and loves all things fitness. She enjoys weight training and running several times a week, and over the years has tried trail running, gymnastics, sports modelling and padel. Nikita is also trained and qualified in a range of beauty treatments - wellness and self-care have always been close to her heart.
One day after yachting, her goal is to open her own wellness space, a mix of spa, coffee bar, and lifestyle brand. In her downtime, she loves being with her family, travelling, exploring new places, and finding the best local coffee and wine spots.

Nikita Perryment

Martin grew up in South-West England in close proximity to the sea. He started sailing at a young age, where he later found his passion for being on the water, which eventually led him into a career at sea by joining the yachting industry in 2012.
After a short time in the industry, Martin moved to the offshore oil and gas industry to obtain his commercial qualifications before later returning, progressing to the rank of Chief Officer sailing on vessels between 75m and 140m.
In his spare time, Martin enjoys sea swimming, running, ice baths and hiking.

Martin Tongue
First Officer
Gigi was born in Cape Town, South Africa and grew up in the coastal town of Melkbosstrand as the eldest of five sisters. She spent much of her childhood horseback riding on the beach and originally planned to study Interior Design. A family friend introduced her to yachting, and at 18 she travelled to Antibes in 2018 to find her first position. She joined M/Y Phoenix 2 and quickly
found her place in the industry.
Since then, Gigi has worked on large vessels including M/Y Crescent and M/Y Flying Fox, gaining strong experience in Service and hosting incredible experiences. In 2024, she joined the Breakthrough build as part of the core Interior team - her first New Build Project.
When she’s home, Gigi enjoys horseback riding, pilates, spending time with her loved ones and working on new design ventures in Cape Town.

Gemma Lee Schou

Nicholas was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and developed a passion for the water through inland and offshore fishing, which he enjoyed from an early age. He was also very active and competed as a national athlete, representing Gauteng in the Athletics South Africa events, for cross-country and long-distance track running disciplines.
After leaving high school, Nico worked in a restaurant as a barman and progressed to front-of-house manager shortly before deciding to start a career in yachting. Since then, he has worked as a deckhand on yachts ranging from 50m to 116m.
Nico is now looking to make a positive impact on M/Y AHPO and is looking forward to providing guests with an exciting and memorable experience onboard.

Nicholas Van Zijl

Holly was born in the United Kingdom and immigrated to Australia with her parents and siblings at the age of eight. Raised along the coastline, the ocean was her backyard.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing degree, she worked as a Registered Nurse in various specialties and areas around Australia, including the operating theatre, emergency department, ward nursing, and cosmetic injectables.
After that time, Holly was interested in taking her nursing skills to a different level. She followed her love for sailing and the ocean which led to her working on AHPO.

Holly Brassington

Jack grew up on the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare with his four older brothers. He started working on yachts in 2018 where he moved to Palma and gained experience day working on sailboats and motor yachts.
After completing his first year at sea, he went to the University of Plymouth to study Navigation and Maritime Science. Jack joined AHPO in June 2024 after gaining two years’ experience as a deck officer on a 65m motor yacht.
Jack is a very active person; he played rugby throughout his childhood and now enjoys going to the gym and playing golf. His passion for golf has led to him running a golf apparel brand in his spare time.

Jack Richardson
Second Officer
For over 20 years Stephan has been engaged in ocean-going adventures, from sailing across various blue oceans to diving the depths of countless world-renowned reefs, wrecks, and colorful destinations.
Born in Namibia, Stephan started his career in hospitality management, excelling in the high-end service industry. Being an avid sailor, and always in search for new horizons, it was evident that building a career in the superyacht Industry would soon follow, combining his navigation skills with the luxury private and charter world.
Having cruised more than 200,000 nautical miles worldwide, Stephan has built up a vast experience in the super yachting industry, previously in command as Captain of the magnificent AHPO.
Stephan enjoys extensive knowledge of global navigation, from the Northern and Southern Atlantic Oceans, the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the Baltic Sea, Western and Eastern Mediterranean, including Lebanon, through Egypt and the Red Sea.
Proud achievements of note are sailing around Cape Horn, South America, New Zealand’s Fjord lands, whale watching in Newfoundland’s foggy cold waters, and searching for Komodo Dragons in
the remote Indonesian Archipelago.

Stephan Nienhaus
Captain
Struan grew up on the Isle of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland. From a young age he knew that he wanted to be a Seafarer, having grown up around ships. With this ambition in mind, he worked through his high School exams and was offered a place in the Nautical college in Glasgow, where he remained until he obtained his Officers License.
He has been very fortunate to have a varied seagoing career, working on Research Vessels to Cruise liners and Private and Charter Yachts, also having the opportunity to sail to many amazing and challenging places from Alaska to Antarctica.
When he isn’t at sea he can be found running his families small holding farming business on the island alongside his Dad. Struan is looking forward to welcoming you onboard Breakthrough and assisting in any way to make your stay as memorable as possible.

Struan Robertson

Patrick was born and raised in Upstate New York and is the youngest of three brothers. At the age of 17 he left to complete a commercial cadetship and degree in Navigation and Maritime Science in the UK.
He was first employed on AHPO in October 2021 as a deckhand, sailing on board for a year before heading off to finish his exams and become a fully qualified OOW Unlimited. He returned to AHPO as a Third Officer in March 2023 and September 2025 to BREAKTHROUGH.
Growing up he was immersed in skiing and hiking and still loves to travel to national parks and explore the outdoors in his time off.
