He has worked on yachts for almost 12 years all over the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, and he has also been fortunate to do a passage up the west coast of the United States, all the way up to Glacier Bay in Alaska. He has worked on prestigious yachts such as TALISMAN 70m and ELYSIAN 60m. Alvin enjoys golf, fly-fishing, and dirt biking when he's back home in South Africa visiting family and friends.
