Rahula is a proud country man hailing from the Mocho Mountains in Clarendon Central, Jamaica. From an early age he discovered that he had a natural gift for fixing things which led him to pursuing his dreams of becoming a Marine Engineer. After working at a power company, he took the plunge into the yachting industry which has since enabled him to experience his true love for engines and adventure. When away from the purr of the engines, Rahula enjoys reggae music and reading car magazines.

Bio: Dylan was born and raised in the coastal city of Durban, South Africa. He went to school in Durban and then went on to study in the city of Cape Town, gaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance. Dylan is a sports enthusiast, loving all things from golf to water to action sports. Any chance to get into the water and Dylan is the first one in! He started his yachting career in France where he joined a boat cruising the Mediterranean. He is delighted to expand his time on the sea throughout the US and beyond.

Michael was born into a Massachusetts commercial sword fishing family. He started working on fishing boats at the age of 12 harpooning on the Georges Banks off New England and long-lining on the Grand Banks off Newfoundland. After college he joined the US Coast Guard and went to Boatswains Mate Class ‘A’ School. Michael was a coxswain and a rescue swimmer at Search & Rescue Stations. Michael became a yacht captain in 1990 and since has cruised extensively throughout New England, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and S.E. Asia. He holds a USCG 3000 ton Ocean Master's License with endorsements from the Marshall Islands, Cayman Islands, and St Vincent & the Grenadines. Michael routinely updates his certifications including Advanced First Aid, Advanced Ship-board Firefighting, Celestial Navigation, Advanced Radar Observer with ARPA, Global Marine Distress and Safety Systems. It's always "Safety First" on Carte Blanche. In his free time he enjoys mentoring kids in youth organizations such as SCUBAnauts International. Join him in the Bridge as a look out while cruising towards new destinations.

Keegan is a highly accomplished sportsman with a degree in Exercise Science and has played club cricket in Australia as well as tennis for South Africa. Keegan has even participated in Ultra Marathons. Passionate about people and the outdoors, yachting was a great fit as he began his yachting career in 2020.

Tayla hails from South-Africa. With over 6 years of experience as a A-level chef both on land and sea perfecting multiple cuisines such as South African, American, Italian and Asian but she still believes nothing compares to a home cooked meal. Tayla has an energetic and creative personality and if you are ever looking for her you will find her in “The galley of good vibes”.

Canyon was born and raised on a farm in Zimbabwe. After he left school, Canyon moved to England where he lived for 6 years. While in England, Canyon worked for a sports advertising company during which he was fortunate enough to travel around Europe. Canyon’s love for travel, fishing and sports lead him to join yachting in 2019 and he has not looked back since.
Russel was born and raised in a small town called George. He has a big passion for sport, nature and traveling. He enjoys spending his free time playing golf or hiking. Russel’s passion for nature led him to study Game Ranch Management. After he completed his degree, he became a Game Ranger at a reserve called Buffelsdrift Game Lodge. Russel’s love for traveling, adventure and exploration lead him to join yachting.

Nicole was born and raised in the city of Cape Town, South Africa. She has a love for ballet and has been dancing for over 20 years. Nicole is also passionate about design and sustainability and completed her degree in Environmental Design in Cape Town. After completing her degree she worked within her field for a year. Ultimately, Nicole’s love for adventure and the ocean called her to yachting.

Chelsea was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. Her biggest passion is health and fitness which led her study Human Movement. Chelsea grew up close to the ocean her whole life and this is what resulted in her love for the outdoors, the beach and fitness. Yachting was a natural next step into a world of blue waters, exciting destinations and lovely new people.

Evrald is originally from St Katherine, Jamaica. Having spent 16 years in the Jamaican Defence Force Coastguard he transitioned to the Jamaican Merchant Navy in 2010. Before joining the Carte Blanche team as a permanent rotational engineer, Evrald was based on a 160m Product Tanker which worked to transport fuel. When away from the purr of the engines, Evrald enjoys music, running and spending time with his family.
