Braydan grew up predominantly in the UK but also spent some time living in Switzerland, where he learned to speak French. Before starting his yachting career, he worked in high-end hospitality between the mountains and the coast, focusing on skiing and watersports. He began working on yachts at age nineteen and has chased opportunities for adventure and sports, traveling all over to film wildlife encounters. Over the past few years, he has had the privilege of shooting alongside wildlife experts and free diving with various marine life such as tiger, bull, and hammerhead sharks, humpback and sperm whales, Galapagos penguins, dolphins, and pelagic fish. Braydan has his Chief Mate’s certification and wants to complete a Master’s qualification in the coming years.

Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Jamie is an electrical fitter/mechanic by trade. Thanks to his father working in the IT industry, he has gained extensive experience in all things AVIT related from a very young age.
At the end of 2018 after working as an electrician in Australia for 8 years, he decided on a scenery change. By pursuing a career in yachting, he traded commercial job sites for the much more appealing scenes of the ocean. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding and more recently has found a keen interest in skydiving.

Charles comes from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, just outside London. He started his culinary career working in a local Michelin star establishment, Thackeray’s, quickly rising through the ranks and honing his skills. Keen to build on his repertoire, Charles commuted to central London, gaining experience working in some of the country’s top kitchens. His career has allowed him to travel extensively, exploring the food cultures of Japan, Mexico, France, and Scandinavia, to name a few. He has travelled around the world on superyachts, providing bespoke menus everywhere from Alaska to the Galapagos, New Zealand, and beyond. Charles enjoys spending downtime with his young family, exploring new food cultures, and keeping himself fit and healthy. Sometimes he can be found on the local golf course, watching rugby, or in the street food market.

Lizelle grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and postgraduate specialization in Neurology and Spinal Cord Injuries for four years. She joined yachting in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. She has been fortunate to explore places like Iceland, Bermuda, the South Pacific, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. She has a big passion for the industry and loves traveling and learning about new cultures. She recently moved to Knysna in the Western Cape, and in her free time, you will find her diving, surfing, hiking, e-foiling, and playing squash or paddle tennis.

Thomas grew up and completed his education in England. From an early age, he discovered a genuine passion and aptitude for rebuilding and repairing engines, making it no surprise that he pursued a career in the engineering field. Before entering the yachting industry, Thomas spent several years traveling the world aboard commercial vessels. This experience taught him to adapt quickly to working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, each with their own values and working styles. Thomas thrives when faced with challenges and stepping outside of his comfort zone, qualities that have helped him become a confident engineer who communicates procedures and solutions clearly and effectively. Thomas is now focused on advancing his career by completing his studies to obtain his chief engineer license.

Born in England before immigrating to New Zealand, Harvey has always had a strong connection to the ocean and the outdoors. He’s spent the last five years living and working across the Pacific Islands on remote projects, helping to build hospitals and marine infrastructure, combining his background in high-end carpentry with life in maritime environments. Whether surfing, diving, sailing or exploring the coastline, Harvey feels most at home in or on the water. He previously lived in New Zealand’s Southern Alps, working as a carpenter while enjoying snowboarding and mountain biking, before returning to a coastal lifestyle. Now aboard, he brings a calm, capable presence and a genuine passion for life at sea.

Liv is an Australian trained paramedic who grew up on Magnetic Island, Australia, and spent her school holidays sailing around the Great Barrier Reef. With a maritime archaeologist father and a marine biologist mother, it was no surprise that she picked up SCUBA and free diving before finishing primary school. After studying paramedicine in Melbourne, covid hit and Liv moved home to help run the local turtle hospital and manage Bungalow Bay, a hostel and wildlife sanctuary. Recently, Liv has been working on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, for the Queensland Ambulance Service, providing prehospital care for Queenslanders and visitors while volunteering for the QAS Indigenous Health Network. Liv wants to go back to QAS, but for now, too many adventures await. Her hobbies include fishing, reading, and amateur photography, and she particularly enjoys long sea crossings and remote travel destinations.

Tessa is originally from Helsinki, the capital of Finland, and has been in the yachting industry for almost two years. Before beginning her career in yachting, Tessa gained her experience in customer service and childcare. Being an avid traveller, Tessa finds joy in exploring new destinations, with skiing being one of her favourite activities. Her yachting adventures have taken her to the Mediterranean, Red Sea, the Atlantic, and now to the Indian Ocean. The most enchanting place Tessa has visited still remains Thailand.

Bradley was born and grew up in South Africa. After finishing school, he furthered his education by obtaining a journalism degree and joined yachting with the idea of combining the two disciplines. Interest in the superyacht world led Bradley to obtain his Master's certification at the end of 2022. He has been fortunate enough to fulfil his passion for travel and sail in areas ranging from the Caribbean to the Arctic, deep into the heart of Russia and the Middle East. Bradley enjoys venturing into lesser-explored areas with a passion for capturing the adventure. He grew up racing off-road motorbikes and mountain biking and has a keen interest in motorsport. Bradley has lived at the coast his whole life and enjoys a variety of water sports, especially kite surfing and surfing. He also scuba dives, free dives, and in his downtime watches rugby, cricket, and documentaries.

Charles was born and raised in the small surf town of Newquay, England, where his love for the ocean and adventure began. He has been in the yachting industry for three years, working as a dedicated and hardworking deckhand. Before yachting, Charles was no stranger to endurance and discipline. He regularly competes in Ironman triathlons, takes on ultra-marathons of 100km or more, and has surfed waves in remote locations across the world, from Mexico to hidden breaks off the beaten path. His passion for the sea extends beyond work, whether it’s chasing the next swell, traveling to remote destinations, or taking the occasional questionable rugby tackle, all in the name of being British. Charles is highly social and approachable, bringing a positive and energetic attitude to any team. He enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and thrives in a team environment. Having completed his basic maritime courses, he is eager to continue developing his skills and contributing to a dynamic and professional vessel program.
