Captain Robin was born in Taunton, Somerset, in the southwest of England. He left home at 17 to embark on his first Atlantic crossing aboard a small sailing boat in 1997—a journey that ignited his passion for the sea and set the course for his long and successful yachting career. With a love for deep-sea fishing, water sports, and exploring new destinations, Captain Robin brings both expertise and enthusiasm to his role. His professional yet personable leadership fosters a strong sense of camaraderie among the crew, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere onboard.

Rachael grew up in Hertfordshire, England, as one of four siblings in a close-knit family that values quality time together. Now based in the Midlands, she enjoys the tranquillity of the countryside and long walks on the beach with her three dogs. After earning her Level 3 qualification in Beauty and Massage, Rachael spent four years honing her skills in a busy health spa and hotel before transitioning to the yachting industry in 2020. As a spa stewardess, she combines her expertise in beauty therapy with her love for travel and adventure.

Born in the picturesque Sussex countryside, Sam grew up on his family's smallholding, where he developed a strong connection to the land and a love for great food. His passion led him to the kitchen at a young age, working his way up through some of London and the South East’s finest restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant Sabor and the two-starred Ikoyi. Seeking adventure and new culinary experiences, Sam took his skills abroad, working in Val d’Isère, the Caribbean, and across the Mediterranean. Recently back from five months exploring East Asia, he is full of fresh inspiration and eager to create exceptional dining experiences aboard M/Y GRACE. Outside the galley, Sam enjoys squash, cycling, and a good game of chess.

Tom, a Portsmouth native, grew up along the south coast of the UK, where his passion for the ocean was cultivated by an outdoorsy family. His childhood was filled with sports and outdoor adventures alongside his parents and sister, fostering a deep love for nature and physical activity. In 2018, Tom entered the yachting industry, seeking a career that would combine his love for travel with his professional ambitions. His experience includes time aboard M/Y JO (50m), as well as sea time on a cruise ship and a general cargo ship during his cadetship. He earned his HND in marine engineering from the City of Glasgow College and holds the Engineering Officer of the Watch qualification. A passionate rugby player and golfer, Tom also enjoys tennis, fishing, and a variety of water sports.

Brandon grew up in the picturesque Paarl, South Africa, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, where family values like respect, honour, and empathy shaped his character. As the youngest of three brothers, sibling rivalry drove his competitive spirit, excelling in sports such as martial arts, cricket, and rugby. He earned a BBA in Brand Building and Management, became a TEFL-certified English educator, and later obtained his Yacht Master Offshore 200GT certification, reflecting his determination. Before entering yachting, Brandon worked as a brand and events manager and a sports coach. In 2021, he sought new challenges beyond the office, leading him to embrace life at sea.

Josh grew up in the picturesque area of Lakeside/Muizenberg, Cape Town, where he spent his childhood outdoors, exploring barefoot with an active imagination. His family is rooted in Zimbabwe and Namibia, with his mom and stepfather from Zimbabwe and his dad from Namibia. He started judo at 7, going on to compete nationally and internationally. Josh’s yachting journey began in 2022, driven by a thirst for adventure, self-improvement, and cultural immersion. He’s proud to bring his skills in workshop management and his Yacht Master Offshore certification to the team, with a goal of completing his OOW.

Born in Geneva, Switzerland, Dylan moved to England at six and has lived there ever since. He holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth but quickly realized that a desk-bound career wasn’t for him. With friends already in the maritime industry, Dylan saw the opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with travel. In 2010, he earned his SV Chief Engineer 3000GT/9000kW qualification and has since thrived on the challenges and variety the role offers. Known for his calm, loyal, and approachable nature.

Karla grew up in a loving and supportive family, where frequent travel for sports and her parents' work sparked her passion for exploration. Before joining yachting, she worked as an au pair and student teacher, honing her skills in time management, attention to detail, and adaptability—qualities that seamlessly translate into her role onboard. Joining M/Y GRACE as her first yacht, Karla quickly proved her enthusiasm for both childcare and travel. She loves combining her natural caregiving abilities with the adventure of exploring new places. Reliable, responsible, and always bringing a great sense of humour, Karla is a dedicated team member who adds positivity and warmth to the crew.

Andy grew up surfing the warm coasts of South Africa, spending his youth between Cape Town and Durban. An avid sportsman, he developed a passion for sailing and competitive sports like football and water polo. After graduating high school with distinction, he initially set his sights on becoming a criminal lawyer. However, inspired by his father’s professional sailing career, he was drawn to the yachting industry. Andy began his yachting career in 2012 and hashas recently acquired his Master 3000GT ticket. With over a decade of experience, he has honed his skills in navigation and leadership, fostering a strong team dynamic onboard. Often described as the "father figure" of the group, Andy naturally looks out for both guests and crew, bringing a sense of calm and reassurance to the M/Y GRACE experience.

Lenny is your Chief Officer on board, bringing steady leadership, a hands-on approach, and a strong focus on safety to all aspects of deck operations.
Known for his calm and approachable demeanour, he ensures the team runs smoothly and efficiently—whether during daily routines or busy charters. His professionalism and positive attitude create a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and crew alike.
Lenny grew up in the small town of Laholm on Sweden’s southwest coast, where he developed a deep connection to the sea and nature. Raised alongside two younger brothers, he spent much of his youth exploring the salmon-rich rivers and nearby coastline.
After completing secondary school with a focus on construction, Lenny’s passion for working with his hands and solving problems naturally led him to a career at sea. His years living and studying in Australia added valuable international experience and broadened his perspective.
Lenny’s adventurous spirit and commitment to teamwork shine through both on and off the yacht, ensuring every voyage is safe, smooth, and enjoyable for all on board.
