After spending a week with Vagabonde Adventure in Croatia last summer I was pretty sure nothing can beat that experience. Boy, was I wrong! We had a mind blowing week in the Abacos on the Bahamas late January. Alone sailing the Outremer 52 has already made my holiday and snorkeling the coral reefs, seeing sea turtles, sea rays, sharks in the crystal clear waters will make this experience unforgettable. My favorite moment was our dinner barbecue on an empty beach on the island Tilloo. Thank you VA for this great organization, sailing lessons and guidance during our first sail in the Bahamas ❤️

This was absolutely one of the best family adventures we’ve ever had. I highly recommend Vagabond Adventures. We took our family, son 17 and daughter 14, to get sailing licenses with them in the Bahamas and it was bucket list dream come true for all of us. The perfect blend of sailing and vacation for the whole family. We had Jack as our Skipper/instructor and his passion for sailing and teach was evident in everything he did.
If you’re even considering sailing or chartering a boat with them you can’t go wrong. We will for sure be sailing with them again.
Spent a week with Jack and Eta on a charter for a week of fun sailing in Greece and getting ASA certified at the same time. To say it was fantastic fails to capture all the hundreds of small moments that made the week so great. From chilled out evenings hanging out on deck, walking in small villages onshore, learning so much each day, and being in the company of such wonderful people.

We were a couple who chartered Outremer Catamaran 4X Lynx on 12-19 July 2025 with Jack and Eta across the Argo-Saronic Islands at Greece, completing 4 ASA certifications.
Both of them are passionate in what they do, knowledgeable and patient. They were also encouraging and understanding, always mindful to ensure that both of us work as a team and neither of us feel excluded
We had a lot of fun learning and enjoying the beauty of the sea and islands together. Thank you for the experience.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Jack is a wonderful instructor. He does an amazing job of constantly teaching you everything there is to know about sailing while at the same time making it super fun and feel laidback and like a five star vacation. A perfect mix of learning, enjoying the experience of sailing and relaxing. The boat is in better than new condition and is a blast to sail (it was my first time sailing) and also luxurious and comfortable to live on. I aced both my tests (as did my new friend and mate Charlie) and I can’t wait to go back, learn more and do it again. Can’t recommend Jack and Vagabond Adventures enough.

We had the most incredible week sailing with Vagabonde Adventures! From start to finish, the experience was smooth, educational, fun, and so welcoming. Jack and Daryl made everything feel easy and relaxed, while also making sure we were learning and fully immersed in the experience.
Jack was amazing with our whole family—patient, kind, and a fantastic teacher. He not only made sailing fun, but also made sure to share as much knowledge as we could absorb throughout the week. He encouraged the kids to snorkel, dive, and enjoy every part of the adventure—not just the sailing—which made the trip even more memorable. He met everyone at their own level, included the kids in everything, and helped build their confidence with such ease.
Daryl not only made the most delicious meals all week, but she also went out of her way to accommodate my food intolerances with such kindness and care. She always found great options that worked for everyone, and even came up with fun cooking activities to keep the kids entertained during the longer stretches on the water.
By the end of the week, our kids were asking if we could move to the ocean and live on a boat—and honestly, we understood the feeling! They made the days fly by, and we made memories we’ll hold onto forever.
We would 100% recommend Vagabonde Adventures to anyone looking to learn to sail, connect as a family, and enjoy an unforgettable experience on the water. Truly a 10/10 trip!
