Emil grew up in the coastal city of Split, Croatia, surrounded by the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. From an early age, he developed a passion for the sea and tourism. His family comes from the island of Brač, where they run a family farm, and it was his uncle (a yacht captain) who introduced him to the world of yachting. This inspiration ultimately led Emil to pursue a career in the nautical tourism sector.
After completing his studies at the Faculty of Kinesiology, Emil decided to fully dedicate himself to maritime affairs. He has extensive experience operating speedboats, having conducted full-day trips, transfers, and organized excursions on luxury motorboats and smaller yachts for many years.
In addition to his love for the sea, Emil enjoys a wide range of water sports and outdoor activities, including kickboxing, boxing, swimming, running, rollerblading, cycling, fishing, and painting nature scenes. He is also a skilled drone pilot, with over ten years of experience.
Fluent in English and in excellent health, Emil brings a natural affinity for the sea and is committed to creating a seamless, enjoyable experience for all guests on board.

Ivan Jeremic is a licensed Electro-Technical Officer with a Master’s degree in Marine Electronic Engineering. He has worked on cruise and cargo ships, maintaining and repairing systems across engine rooms, bridges, galleys, and guest areas. Ivan holds extensive STCW certifications, including high-voltage and reefer systems. Known for his professionalism, teamwork, and focus on safety, he has served with Carnival UK, Costa Crociere, and CMA CGM. In his free time, he enjoys trail walking, mountain biking, swimming, and follows a vegetarian lifestyle.

Specialized in Mediterranean, Italian, French, Asian, Japanese, molecular and fusion kitchen. He is member of World Master Chef society, London, UK. Mr. Sertic is winner of Yi yin cup in Being (China). “The best Chef artist in the world 2018”. He is Official Chef of Zepter international. Besides all mentioned Damir is teaching culinary arts in high school in Zagreb. As well he was teacher on ITS study in gastronomy in Malta. He was cooking for many famous celebrities and for many Presidents.

Captain Antonio was born in 1970 in Stuttgart, Germany, but his family originally comes from the beautiful island of Šolta.
After graduating from the Technical and Maritime school he started his career at sea following in the family tradition. Since then he has devoted his life to the sea, growing up and becoming a very strong and confident Captain. During his long maritime career he was part of the new build projects at the Ferretti shipyard. After working for a yacht fleet in Croatia and driving various sizes of yachts he took the Captain’s role on Katina, while the yacht was still being built at the Croatian shipyard in 2015. Captain Antonio has a friendly and calm personality and the crew feels respected, safe and appreciated while working under his command. Beside his maritime career Antonio is a devoted family man. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and his three kids, driving his motorbike, growing his olive trees, producing olive oil and enjoying his great wine collection from his wine cellar. He also teaches Yacht Master seminars and enjoys passing on his extensive knowledge to the new generation. She is experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher with a love for educating today. Extremely motivated, hard-working and reliable individual, also flexible, adaptable and comfortable in new situations. Yet, beneath Petra's nurturing exterior lay a world of creativity waiting to be unleashed. In her free time, she indulged in her love for makeup, transforming faces with her artistic touch and dreaming of a future where she could make beauty her canvas.
It was this same passion for adventure and creativity that led Petra to venture into the world of yachting. With her sights set on the Mediterranean, she embarked on a new chapter of her life. Petra has worked on both private and charter motor yachts traveling the the Mediterranean, from Greece, Italy, Spain and France all the way to Algeria. In Petra, we find a testament to the power of passion, creativity, and the endless possibilities that lie beyond the horizon.

Sanjin grew up in Croatia with a deep interest in engineering and maritime technology. With a strong technical background and a hands-on mindset, Sanjin pursued his studies at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka, earning a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering. His academic foundation, combined with practical training, led him to build a successful career in both commercial shipping and the yachting industry. Sanjin currently serves as Chief Engineer aboard the 50-meter M/Y JOY ME, where he is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all main and auxiliary systems, including the main engines, generators, hydraulics, water makers, and electrical equipment. His role also involves overseeing the jet-skis and rescue boats. With experience on large tankers and Ro-Ro ferries, Sanjin has acquired extensive skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, fault repair, and shipyard operations. His ability to work efficiently under pressure, combined with excellent time management and organizational skills, makes him a valuable asset to any engineering team. Highly motivated and committed, Sanjin brings a professional attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to his role. His fluency in English and passion for maritime engineering ensure a smooth and safe experience for crew and guests alike.

René grew up in Stellenbosch, a town 40 minutes drive from Cape Town, South Africa. She grew up in the hospitality world starting at the age of 16. While in School she was preparing and training to enter the world of fine dining, class, and excellent service. Getting trained to become a chef helped bring out her creativity and attention to the finer details in her even further. From working as an au pair to hostess and waitress at a luxury wine estate, René's love for working with people grew stronger.
It was this passion mixed with her desire to see the world that led her across the globe to the yachting industry. Rene brings a smile wherever she goes and likes to bring people together. She's always ready to take on a challenge and eager to learn something new. Her passion, professionalism, and genuine desire to make each guest feel valued pairs perfectly with the world of yachting.

Joško was born in 1987 in Split, Croatia. After completing his maritime education, he began his career at sea in 2011 as a deck cadet on commercial ships. Upon passing his officer exam, he pursued a career as a deck officer and chief officer, working on chemical and product tankers worldwide for nine years. In 2019, he transitioned to become a second officer on a 70m Feadship yacht, where he was later promoted to the role of chief officer. Subsequently, he served as captain of a 50m catamaran for a summer season.
In 2025, Joško joined JoyMe and became part of the team. Outside of work, Joško is a lovely man and father of two young children. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and describes himself as multitasking, hardworking, team-spirited, and eager to improve his knowledge and skills to achieve his career goals.
