Andy was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been part of the super yacht industry since early 2021. His interest in yachting began when he finished school and decided to travel before studying; this is where he first heard of yachting. After much debate he decided to not attend university after enjoying his first season onboard so much.
Combined with a love for the water and a passion for travel, he has continued his career as a deckhand on yachts such as M/Y LA MIRAGE and M/Y APOGEE, both giving him the unique experience of working on a charter boat of high pedigree. He has cruised the Mediterranean ocean and his greatest ambition is to cruise even more oceans in the future as he looks to become a captain one day.
In his free time, he enjoys sailing, hiking, fishing and most of all, camping. Andy is a positive team player who is always willing to help others when needed and takes on new challenges with a smile.
