In his most recent role as a Solo Chef on a 100ft sailing yacht, Massimo has been fully responsible for the galley operation, creating bespoke menus for guests and crew while maintaining exceptional standards at sea. From provisioning and inventory management to food cost control and hygiene, he combines creativity with strong organisation and efficiency. He consistently delivers high-quality dishes, even under demanding conditions while sailing.
His background includes experience in high-end kitchens and exposure to Michelin-level standards, as well as roles focused on performance nutrition, large-scale catering, and fine dining. This breadth of experience enables him to adapt easily to different preferences and requirements, from refined guest dining to balanced, nutrition-focused menus.

With over a decade of experience commanding sailing yachts, Captain Ricardo brings a deep-rooted passion for the sea, shaped by a unique upbringing spent sailing around the world with his family. This early exposure laid the foundation for a career defined by strong seamanship, curiosity for exploration, and a genuine love for life on the water.
Since 2015, Ricardo has served as Captain of a 100’ sailing yacht, where he has overseen all aspects of navigation, yacht management, engineering, and crew leadership. His hands-on approach, technical competence, and calm, solution-oriented mindset make him a reliable and effective leader on board. He is equally comfortable managing demanding owner programs as he is leading his crew with clarity and respect.
Ricardo has extensive experience cruising remote and high-latitude regions, including Antarctica, Svalbard, the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic Sea, and Patagonia. These voyages reflect his enthusiasm for off-the-beaten-track destinations and his capability to operate safely in challenging environments.

Marvin is an experienced sailor, rigger, and marine technician with over 20 years in the superyacht industry. Originally from Cape Town, he worked as a Senior Supervisor at Southern Wind Shipyard, specializing in deck hardware, rigging, yacht systems, and commissioning.
Seeking a new chapter aligned with his lifelong passion for sailing, Marvin has joined the Kiboko4 crew as Engineer. Having sailed thousands of offshore miles, including multiple transatlantic deliveries, he brings extensive hands-on technical expertise, a strong team ethic, and a positive attitude.
Marvin ensures safe, efficient, and enjoyable sailing and is always happy to share his passion for the sea with Kiboko4’s charter guests.

Adrià is an experienced Spanish sailor with a strong background aboard both private and charter sailing yachts. Having cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean, he brings excellent technical knowledge, and a calm, professional attitude on board.
His experience includes several long-term positions on prestigious sailing yachts where he spent many seasons sailing across the Mediterranean and along the Portuguese coast. He has also completed Atlantic crossings and extensive Caribbean cruising aboard both private and charter catamarans.
Before moving full-time into yachting, Adrià worked as a sailing instructor, coach, and regatta chairman, developing strong leadership and teamwork skills from an early stage in his career. Practical, hands-on, and highly adaptable, he is experienced in tender driving, sail handling and repairs, diving, fishing, basic carpentry, and general yacht maintenance.
Passionate about sailing and life at sea, Adrià is known for his positive attitude, reliability, and approachable personality, making him a valued crew member both during operations and with guests.
