With a passion for travel and hospitality, Sam's most cherished memory involves organizing a water obstacle course for guests and crew, which was fun for all. Renowned for her expertise in spa treatments, Sam is excited to pamper guests aboard Kismet, especially in the serene spa area. As one of the few females from Aberdeen in yachting, she takes pride in representing her hometown. Her fondest yachting memory? Three blissful months immersing herself in Thai culture in Phuket, savouring the vibrant cuisine and scenic wonders. Beyond her flair for hairdressing, Poppy's diverse interests include painting, running, and horseback riding, reflecting her zest for life. Did you know? Poppy's upbringing on a sheep farm instilled a deep connection to nature, a bond she cherishes to this day. Known for his calm, composed leadership and exacting standards, Andrew is dedicated to creating a safe, smooth-running, and guest- focused environment onboard. Originally from New Zealand and now based in Edinburgh, he holds dual citizenship and embraces a global perspective. Off duty, he’s a scratch golfer, passionate rugby fan, marine archaeology enthusiast, and enjoys fishing and cooking. Andrew brings a professional yet personable touch to the KISMET team.

Arianna Gerner, from Vero Beach, Florida, brings a fresh perspective as a Stewardess aboard Kismet. Despite being new to yachting, her enthusiasm is palpable. She treasures the diversity of crew members, cherishing the bonds formed across cultures. With a gymnastics background and a knack for card tricks, she adds flair to onboard interactions. Although she's yet to sail, Arianna's heart belongs to the South of France. Outside of work, she seeks adventure in nature, from beach outings to skydiving. A unique fact: she's the first in her large family to travel abroad. With Arianna's vibrant spirit, she is a wonderful addition to the crew.

Jordy Kesteloot, hailing from Ostend, Belgium, serves as the Sous Chef aboard Kismet, bringing three years of culinary expertise in yachting. Fluent in Dutch and English, Jordy has cruised the South of France, the Balearic Sea, Amalfi Coast, the Adriatic Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. Jordy's most memorable yachting experience was hosting Akon onboard. Renowned for his ability to stay calm under pressure, Jordy's particular skills set him apart. His favourite destination is the Amalfi Coast, where he finds culinary inspiration. Outside work, he enjoys exploring remote areas and discovering hidden culinary gems. While he favours the galley, he believes guests will relish the exterior dining areas as there are many options. Jordy, along with the head chef and galley team, promises a tantalising dining experience for guests aboard.

Kyle Smith, who resides in Lake Tahoe, serves as the Bosun aboard KISMET, bringing eight years of yachting experience. With dual British/South African nationality, Kyle has cruised across diverse regions, including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Red Sea, Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand, Malaysia and London. He finds fulfilment in exploring unique destinations and forming connections with people worldwide.
Kyle's most memorable yachting experience was crossing the Atlantic on a 38ft sailing boat. Renowned as a water sports instructor, he brings his passion for outdoor activities to the crew. Outside work, he indulges in golf, cars, water sports, and cooking, though he admits to a fear of roller coasters. Excited to showcase KISMET's amenities to guests, Kyle believes the pool deck, with its expansive pool and dual cooking stations, will offer the ultimate pool party experience.

Adam Maurer, a motivated and personable deckhand who recently joined our team, bringing a strong work ethic and a well-rounded background both on land and at sea. With hands-on experience aboard large motor yachts, Adam is skilled in daily deck operations, washdowns, detailing, tender driving, paint care, and guest interaction. He holds all essential yachting certifications and is committed to continuing his professional development toward Yacht Master. Adam’s background in psychology and behavioral support enhances his teamwork, communication, and hospitality skills, making him a reliable and approachable presence onboard. He is proactive, adaptable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards in every aspect of his role.

Tomás is our energetic Deckhand from Portugal, who splits his time between Lisbon and London. With three years of yachting experience, Tomás has cruised diverse waters from the Med to the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. He thrives on the variety and unpredictability of life aboard a superyacht, creating unforgettable memories like a sunrise kayak ride in Croatia surrounded by bluefin tuna. A former military man and competitive surfer, Tomas brings his skills in surfing, skateboarding, and football to the crew. Outside of work, he's passionate about extreme sports, music, and reading. Eager for KISMET's busy charter seasons, Tomas looks forward to advancing his yachting career. His favourite spot? The pickleball court, where he knows guests will have a blast.

While new to yachting, Sophia finds solace in the ocean's view and camaraderie among crew members, transitioning seamlessly from hospitals to high seas. Her most memorable moment? Setting sail from the built shipyard in Germany, embracing the vastness of the sea for the first time on Kismet. With a passion for emergency nursing and a love for exploring, Sophia brings a unique perspective to our team.
Outside work, she finds joy in reading, snowboarding, and relishing beachside bliss at North Wildwood, her cherished sanctuary.
