Megan was born and raised in Berkshire, England. After school Megan left home and moved to the seaside town of Brighton to study at university. After finishing her university degree, Megan made the leap into the hospitality industry where she has worked for many years in many different sectors. Most recently for the last 6+ years Megan has worked at large highend event companies organising huge events all over the UK including charity events, festivals and concerts, from here she moved across to the Wedding side and has been a wedding event planner for many years. This is where Megan came into her own pairing together her knowledge of planning events but also her creative side including table decor, calligraphy and floristry. This will be Megans first season on-board a yacht and we are so excited to have her join us and bring her great land based experience to La Mirage. When Megan isn’t working your find her casually taking part in marathons, riding the horses at home or with her two cats Ralph and Rosie.

Keegan grew up along the beautiful coastline of Cape Town, South Africa. Keegan began his culinary journey at the fine dining establishment La Colombe, rated one of the top 100 restaurants in the world. He experimented with the fusion of French and Asian cuisine. After three incredible years in the fine dining industry, Keegan decided to take his craft around the world, collecting recipes and techniques along the way from locals he befriended. His experiences include working on the ski slopes of Lech, Austria and working for VIP clientele at the Monaco Grand Prix. With this wealth of experience under his belt, Keegan is ready to craft personalised menus and create beautiful dishes on board! Keegan loves using lemon and citrus in his dishes as it is such a versatile flavour. He takes huge pride in his abilities as a Head Chef, and he leads his Sous Chef with great direction in order to provide the best possible dishes for all on board.

Gordon hails from the picturesque East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. His engineering career began right after he left school, working as a Rolls Royce and Bentley Technician. However, the allure of the sea beckoned him, leading him to venture onto ships and drilling rigs. Eventually, Gordon found himself in Bermuda, where he honed his skills as a marine engineer before making his way into the world of super yachts.
Throughout his maritime journey, Gordon has had the opportunity to work on both large sail and motor yachts, accomplishing an impressive eight Atlantic crossings. While he finds fulfilment in his seafaring adventures, Gordon cherishes his time at home, where his loyal companion, Brodie, a Border Terrier with four legs and a furry coat, eagerly awaits his return. The bond between them is unbreakable, and Brodie deeply misses Gordon whenever he is away.
Gordon's jovial nature and wealth of experience make him a valuable asset as a seasoned seaman. His cheerful disposition brings laughter and joy, creating a vibrant atmosphere wherever he goes.

Marli grew up in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. After high school she studied teaching for two years. In her second year she realized this was not for her and decided to change over to studying beauty and massage. Marli was in the beauty industry for 8 years having run her own salon, named The Royal Beauty Salon offering a variety of treatments. With a love for traveling and exploring new cultures, in 2025 she decided to explore new ventures and join the yachting industry. Marli has a quiet and reserved nature, yet she is an effervescent individual with a fire within her that sparks her passion for life and everything that life has to offer. She is a calm, caring and intelligent individual which allows her to understand people and have a good relationship with anyone she encounters. Marli’s love, passion and experience in the beauty industry shows in her abilities as a masseuse. This is Marli’s first year on La Mirage, and she can’t wait to spoil the guests with her amazing beauty treatments!

Growing up in Abu Dhabi, George developed a deep love for the ocean from an early age. This passion for the sea naturally led him to a career in the maritime industry. After finishing school, George became a Flotilla Skipper in Greece, followed by four years in the Merchant Navy, where he honed his skills and gained invaluable experience. After a brief time away, George returned to yachting, where he has spent the last three years, bringing his total time at sea to a decade. With an unwavering passion for yachting, he is committed to continuing his journey by completing higher maritime qualifications and advancing his career in the field he loves.

Sarah has been working as a Freelance Chef for the past year and a half on both land and sea. She previously co-owned a café and catering business for four years. Since studying at Loughborough University, Sarah has had various jobs working in hospitality and recruitment, she has also worked as a carer. Sarah has lived in Palma for six years with her partner, who works on race boats, and their French Bulldog Yogi. When not in the galley, you’ll find Sarah trying to catch a sunrise or sunset armed with a brew, squeezing in some type of fitness or looking at new recipes to create; especially those that come in the form of sweet treats.

James grew up with a spanner in his hand helping his Father at their families Car Repair Garage in Florida, it was there that James realised how much he loved fixing things. James officially started his career 12 years ago as an Electrician running his own business. He transferred those skills to become and engineer onboard his first yacht aged 22. He quickly worked his way up and has over 8 years experience as Chief Engineer under his tool belt, recently gaining his Y3 qualifications. Another of James’ passion is property, he took a few years hiatus from yachting to become a Facilities Manager of a high end luxury development in the heart of London and a Technical manager for a portfolio five star chalets in Val d’Isère His unique skill set ensured that all the systems and processes enabled the estate to run efficiently. Aboard Thumper James' main responsibilities are the safe operations and preventative maintenance of the Yacht and all the onboard systems. James’ calm and driven personality means he can troubleshoot any issues from WIFI to MTU 2000 Main Engines with a smile. He will happily chat about all things technical as long as you let him and is always happy to give a tour around the Engine room.

Chris, originally from Cape Town, was born in the scenic coastal town of Hermanus. Growing up in the warm embrace of his close-knit family, he nurtured a desire to explore beyond his familiar surroundings. After completing his high school education in Pretoria, Chris embarked on his professional journey as an entry-level deckhand in 2007.
Driven by his passion for all things mechanical, Chris pursued and successfully obtained his Marine Engineering certification, MEOL (Marine Engine Operator's License). This propelled him into the realm of an engineer, where he finds immense fulfilment in his work. His mechanical prowess and dedication shine through in every task he undertakes.
Chris possesses an adventurous spirit, finding joy in meeting new people and embarking on journeys to exotic destinations across the globe. With his gentle soul and easy-going nature, he has the remarkable ability to bring a sense of calm to any situation. Chris harbours a dream of earning his four stripes and completing additional certifications to fulfil his aspirations of becoming a Chief Engineer, further advancing his expertise in his chosen field.

Throughout her decade-long journey, Rachel's yachting career has whisked her away to exotic destinations such as the Maldives, Mexico, Panama, the Seychelles, Belize, and Turkey, among others.
Even after a decade, Rachel's enthusiasm for creating extraordinary guest experiences remains unwavering. Her composed demeanour, unwavering confidence, and positive outlook inspire those around her to embrace their best selves. With a relentless commitment to attending to every guest's needs, she consistently goes above and beyond to craft a truly memorable and pleasurable voyage.
During her leisure time, Rachel finds solace in her hometown, where she indulges in equestrian pursuits, takes her beloved dogs for outings, and showcases her culinary skills by hosting gatherings for friends and family.
