Fisherman's grandson, Captain's son and stewardesses nephew, Ive has been infatuated with the sea since the first time his grandpa took him out scampi fishing. Since, he has spent a great amount of time on the sea and around boats, whether helping his father, assisting on fishing boats, or as adeckhand on a motor yacht.
A skipper himself, Ive has so far actively partook in both regattas and family sailing vacations in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. He also worked as a ski instructor’s assistant in the ski kindergarten. Unsurprisingly, action on the water is his drive so he is also a water-polo player and very much enjoys adrenaline activities like wakeboarding, windsurfing, and spearfishing. Ive is also passionate into music, photography, and web design.
Never the one to shy away from challenge, Ive will impress you with his skill, experience, and agility during your stay on board MY Lukas.
Upbeat and genuinely hospitable, your stewardess, Sandra, will go to great lengths to make sure you have a fantastic time on board MY Lukas. Sandra oozes a love for life, the sea, and her job. Having worked as a yacht hostess for a decade now, she is truly the go-to person for answers to any questions and wishes. Sandra speaks fluent English and basic Italian. Her work as a yacht hostess was preceded by half a decade of work as a skipper on sailing boats. Not only did she complete the Adriatic Nautical Academy, but she was also the skipper in the women’s sailing team Croatia-Greece-Croatia in 2000. Her active spirit drove her to complete the Faculty of Physical Education in Zagreb, and her vocation today is Professor of Physical Education and Kinesiotherapy. To top it all off, Sandra is a professional masseuse with extensive experience in sports racing.
Her love for the great outdoors, especially the sea, was inherited from her fisherman father, who also taught her always to prepare food simply and with heart, to showcase the full splendor of its freshness and flavor. Rest assured, Sandra’s homemade dishes will truly make you feel at home in the Adriatic
