Henry is from England in a small town called Northampton and has been in yachting for over a year now working as a deckhand on motor yachts. He has a background in cyber and drone security from when he worked as a contractor in the super yacht industry. He’s currently studying for his Yachtmaster to further
his progression in the industry. Henry is very active and enjoys a variety of sports and training at the gym.

Anel is from a small town in South Africa. She graduated with an Honors’ degree in Sports Science in 2021 and has worked with various professional athletes, Olympians, and World Record Holders. Anel competed professionally in Triathlons, including at the World Championships multiple times, with a second place finish
in 2017. She began her yachting career in 2022 and is a certified massage therapist with a good understanding of the human body and musculature. With her degree, she also acts as a Personal Trainer. In her free time, you’ll either find her training, listening to podcasts, or exploring the great outdoors.

Barney was raised in a small country town in Western Australia, before moving to Perth, where she has been based since. Barney has been in the hair and beauty industry for 12 years, working with some of Perth’s top stylists on photo shoots, at hair shows and on TV productions. Barney also specializes in head massage techniques to enhance your relaxing treatments on board, and is professionally trained in manicure and pedicure. In her free time, she loves to host dinner parties for friends, keep active, be outdoors, in the ocean or chasing sunsets.

Jochem is Dutch born, Scottish raised. He joined the Merchant Navy at 16 and finally found yachting 10 years later where he remains to this day. Always the keen engineer on and off the sea, Jochem built his off-grid homestead on Mallorca and is almost completely self-sufficient at home. His interests include motorcycles,
classic cars, renewables, and wishing his daughter wouldn’t grow up so fast.

Anna grew up in Stockholm, where she spent most of her summers around the archipelago. Cruising around the many islands strengthened her interest to work as a deckhand on boats to be able to further her knowledge and experience. She is a qualified Divemaster and wants to explore more diving spots around the world. Anna also enjoys activities such as painting, hiking and skiing.

Fabian is from Sweden and has been in yachting for two years now. Before joining M’BRACE he worked on a boat based in the Middle East and another high-profile charter boat that travelled the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red Sea and Caribbean. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing paddle tennis and spending time with friends. He has been sailing since he was six years old, at 14 became a dinghy instructor and later worked as a Harbour Master in one of the busiest marinas in Sweden. During this time, he decided to join the yachting industry and has never looked back since.

Sarah has always loved the luxury hospitality industry and through the years has worked as a Head Housekeeper on various high-profile vessels, been part of new build teams and has assisted in setting up private homes. She has worked closely with owners and guests, to make any space feel like home away from
home. She loves the finer details, and her passion has taken her to many destinations around the world, her favorite including Los Angeles and Costa Rica. She grew up between South Africa and Tanzania, where she spends her time sailing, diving or on safari looking out for lions. You will either find her organizing or enjoying a glass of red wine.

Meet Shilo, the spirited crew member hailing from the picturesque Knysna, South Africa, nestled in the Garden Route. With a deep-rooted passion for environmental conservation, Shilo dedicated her time to beach clean-ups and wildlife protection in her hometown. Her love for nature blossomed during her tenure at her uncle’s adventure company, where she guided guests on excursions, fishing trips, and snorkelling. Shilo’s yachting journey commenced on sailboats cruising the Mediterranean, with Greece holding a special place in her heart. Transitioning to motor yachts, Shilo now serves as a Deckhand, aspiring to climb the ranks in the future. An avid diver and water sports enthusiast, she maintains an active lifestyle both on and off the boat, eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead as she continues her journey of exploration and growth.

As a 14-year-old, Jamie’s mum told him he had learn to cook in order to make his family dinner every Tuesday night. He quickly realised that this wasn’t the dreadful chore he had imagined and fell in love with food and cooking, starting work as a chef at 16, the day after he left school. His career has taken him through several Michelin starred restaurants from England to France, and now across the ocean. Jamie has always had a sweet tooth, which developed into a passion for creating patisserie, desserts and fine chocolates.
When he’s at home Jamie can be found at the archery range, on his bike or watching and playing soccer.

Leah was born and raised in the coastal town of Mangonui, New Zealand. She grew up enjoying all the great things New Zealand has to offer including days on the beach, hiking and camping. Leah spent many years working in the hospitality industry and was about to start studying Biomedical Engineering when she made the move to yachting. During her time off Leah enjoys travelling, swimming, running, and visiting friends and family. Leah is a qualified yoga instructor and keen sailor.
