Born in Mexico City, and grown up in northern Mexico, I am a proud Mexican
that loves cooking for my customers, friends and family from Cabo San Lucas.
The place that I’ve called home for the last decade.
Passionate about gastronomy from a very young age, and inspired by the
women of my life (speci cally my mum and grandma), and the vast food scene
of my country.
With over 10yrs of experience under my belt across a variety of hospitality
venues, I’ve cooked on high-end restaurants, hotels, and catering private
functions in some of the most touristic places in Mexico. Think of Playa del
Carmen and Cabo San Lucas to say some.
Breaking through into the yacht charters industry on 2015 as head chef, I’ve
had the opportunity to cook in some of the harshest environments onboard
80-feet yachts and sailboats. Always with a ‘can do’ attitude and keen to
support the crew on over-deck duties while navigating along the beautiful
Mexican Paci c and the Mar de Cortez.
During my time in the industry, I have acquired diverse cooking techniques
from a variety of cuisines, from authentic and modern Mexican, to French,
Japanese, Italian and Mediterranean, amongst others.
When I’m not cooking yummy food at work or home, you can nd me on the
trails riding my mountain bike with my mates or playing the percussions in
some of the many bars along the Cabo San Lucas marina.

I was born in the south of Mexico in the state of Guerrero, where the famous port of Acapulco is located. From the age of 12 years until today I lived in Cabo San Lucas, where I studied administration in tourist services and continued to offer service and experiences of my guests for 20 years. After 10 years of experience in the nautical world and with knowledge of the peninsula, both Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez together with having been a crew member on a different yachts performing in all areas and positions, I crewed until reaching the rank of Captain. I love my profession as a Captain and I love the environment of the sea and my passion is being with my family when I am at home and sailing with my crew and sharing the best experiences when we are with our guests.
