Alejandro's early years were shaped by time spent aboard commercial fishing vessels, where he developed a strong foundation in seamanship and resilience. However, it was in the private yacht sector where he truly refined his expertise, particularly in guest service and onboard operations. His career has included significant experience aboard various Majesty Yachts, including an extensive period on a Majesty 120, which naturally paved the way for his promotion to Captain of a Majesty 100.

Alejandro is known for his professional approach, strong leadership, and deep understanding of shipyard processes. These qualities make him an invaluable asset to both guests and crew aboard New Waves. His calm demeanour and operational knowledge ensure smooth cruising and unforgettable experiences for all onboard.

Juan Velazquez Hernandez is a highly motivated and capable Deckhand with a strong academic background in nautical sciences and hands-on experience aboard private yachts. With a solid foundation in marine operations, Juan offers valuable support in all aspects of deck duties, including navigation assistance, line handling, tender driving, and the operation of bridge electronic systems.

His career to date includes time spent aboard the Majesty 120 (37.55m), where he gained firsthand experience on a busy charter and private yacht program. His familiarity with the Majesty series has provided him with a solid understanding of yacht maintenance protocols, safety procedures, and high standards of guest service.

Now a vital member of the team aboard M/Y New Waves (42m), Juan continues to demonstrate a disciplined work ethic, a proactive approach, and a commitment to teamwork. He is dependable, detail-oriented, and always ready to assist in ensuring seamless operations on deck. His positive attitude and adaptability make him a valued asset to both crew and guests alike.

Katrin Brandl is an experienced Chief Stewardess specializing in maintaining high-quality luxury yacht service through meticulous cleaning and organization. With updated STCW 95 certification, PDSD, and extensive hospitality experience, including roles as a Secretary Accountant and Waitress, Katrin ensures a positive atmosphere and impeccable service on board M/Y New Waves. Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, Katrin's dedication to excellence and professionalism make
her a valuable asset to any yacht crew.

Gordana Sudar, a skilled Stewardess with extensive experience in luxury yacht service, excels in housekeeping, laundry, interior detailing, silver service, and bartending. Holding certifications in STCW, security awareness, and food safety, Gordana is equipped to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness and organisation on board M/Y New Waves.

Thibault Bernier, an experienced Deckhand and Chase Boat Captain, brings a wealth of skills in watersports, tender driving, cleaning, and mechanical maintenance to M/Y New Waves. Fluent in French, English and Italian, Thibault demonstrates proficiency in deck operations and technical maintenance, backed by solid professional references.

Dmytro Nestoryak, an accomplished Chief Engineer with extensive experience in marine engineering, offers a robust technical skill set for the efficient operation and maintenance of all technical equipment aboard M/Y New Waves. With a background in marine engineering from Kherson State Maritime Academy and hands-on experience overseeing major projects, including pump overhauls and generator maintenance, Dmytro is equipped to ensure adherence to Class and Flag requirements while maintaining impeccable standards of safety and efficiency.

Rhiannan Papast is an enthusiastic and hardworking Third Stewardess with a solid hospitality background and varied experience across yachts from 20m to 40m. Her roles have included interior detailing, bartending, meal service, and guest engagement, always delivered with professionalism and energy. She holds certifications including STCW95+10, AMSA 303, Food & Hygiene Safety Level 2, RSA, and RCG. Her strong eye for detail, adaptability across both charter
and private vessels, and warm personality make her a valuable member of the interior team aboard New Waves.

Angeluz Cardenas is an experienced and creative yacht chef with over 8 years of culinary service aboard vessels up to 86m. Known for her adaptability and international culinary repertoire, she expertly caters to both guests and crew with menus spanning Mediterranean, Asian fusion, Latin, vegan, gluten-free, and raw cuisine. She is certified with STCW95, Ship’s Cook Certificate, Crowd Management, and Security Awareness. Angeluz consistently delivers high-quality, health-conscious meals with a focus on dietary diversity and galley efficiency.
