Originally from Estonia, Aivo brings a dynamic blend of engineering expertise and deck operations experience to his role aboard M/Y Nineteen 42. With over six years on board a private Leopard 27 cruising the Mediterranean — including St. Tropez, Antibes, Corsica, and Sardinia — he has built a strong foundation in both guest-facing duties and technical yacht maintenance.
Aivo’s core strengths lie in preventative and corrective engineering, including generator diagnostics, engine servicing, and full oversight of bilge and engine room operations. He has also supervised major yard periods and refit projects, demonstrating strong attention to detail and quality control.
In addition to his mechanical acumen, Aivo supports daily deck operations such as washdowns, tender handling, and water toy assistance. His background as a certified personal trainer and military team leader adds discipline, reliability, and a quietly confident presence to the crew.
Aivo holds a full set of maritime certifications, including STCW, SSO, and Able Seafarer in Engine (STCW 2010), along with a 24m boat licence. He is fluent in English and Estonian, and has a working understanding of Russian. A true team player, Aivo ensures everything below deck runs smoothly while also supporting seamless guest service on the exterior.

She is confident in bartending, canapé and table service, and event setups, and is used to working long hours in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards. Ella is highly attentive to detail and takes pride in ensuring guests enjoy a smooth and relaxed experience.
In addition to her interior capabilities, Ella is happy to support deck operations, assisting with guest activities, exterior upkeep, and general yacht operations when required. Her background in childcare also makes her particularly well-suited to family charters, adding further versatility to her role onboard.

Professionally trained at ALMA – The School of Italian Culinary Arts, she brings a fresh and refined approach to Mediterranean and international cuisine, combining elegant presentation with a strong understanding of guest preferences and onboard hospitality.
Having worked across a variety of yacht environments, Sarah is confident managing the galley independently during busy owner trips and charter operations. From provisioning and menu planning to delivering consistent guest dining experiences, she is highly organised, adaptable and calm under pressure.
Her cuisine focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients, balanced flavours and beautifully presented dishes tailored to each guest’s expectations. Sarah is also experienced with dietary requirements, including kosher meal preparation, and enjoys creating healthy, vibrant menus adapted to different lifestyles and preferences.
With a warm personality, strong work ethic and multilingual background, Sarah integrates naturally within international crews and contributes positively to the overall onboard atmosphere, ensuring guests enjoy both excellent cuisine and attentive service.
