In 2003, after spending six years on cargo ships, while also finishing his university studies, Martin travelled to the South of France to find his first job on a yacht. During the last 20 years, he has worked on several high-profile yachts and captained the busy and successful charter yachts QUANTUM OF SOLACE, ANDIAMO, LADY L and SEVEN SINS. Martin is delighted to share his passion for yachting with all guests and is excited to be part of the NYMPHEAS team.

Alexandra grew up in the New Forest in the South of England before moving to the coast. It was here that she developed a love for the ocean and became the operations manager of a 75ft gentleman’s yacht, handling corporate day charters, birthday parties, and serving as a regatta support boat for seven years. During winters, she spent many hours varnishing and painting. However, seeking a new challenge, she decided to take her skills into the superyacht industry. If it hadn't been for yachting, she would be working in the police force!
What is your favourite charter day/night theme and why?
“Peter Pan - A combination of Pirates, Fairies and Lost boys. A fun lost boys versus pirate battle during the day resulting in some plank walking and a treasure hunt. As an evening setting its all-theme cocktails, lanterns and fairy lights to create a magical Neverland wonderland. “

If you were a guest, where would you choose to charter?
"I would choose to charter in the Lyngen Alps, in Norway. Waking up on the water, being dropped ashore for ski touring and skiing all the way back down to the shoreline, only to jump back on board for a cold plunge in the ocean followed by the steam room!"
In your opinion, what makes a great charter yacht great?
"I think the most important aspect of a great charter yacht is of course the crew! They truly create the experience for the guests. For me also an epic chef is a huge part! Along with plenty of outdoor spaces to host different meals, cocktail hours, and to have relaxed moments throughout the day. The best yachts are the ones where you can make use of every area onboard for a different occasion throughout the week!"

What is your favourite charter day/night theme and why?
“My favourite charter theme would be a murder mystery night, I have hosted a couple and they are so much fun! It can happen throughout dinner and makes it super interactive, getting the crew involved as well as the guests! The costumes are great and everyone becomes a new character which can be very entertaining!”
If you were a guests, where would you choose to charter?
“I would take the yacht to very unique destinations such as Antarctica, Greenland, Alaska.”
