Balkis is a dynamic and attentive stewardess with a background in hospitality and service. Before joining the yachting world, she worked as a 3D artist for animated productions in Vancouver, Canada, contributing to international streaming projects. This experience sharpened her eye for detail, teamwork and adaptability.

Since transitioning to yachting, Balkis has built hands-on experience in hospitality, always focusing on guest satisfaction. She brings a calm, cheerful presence to the crew.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga which allows her to bring the same energy and discipline to her role on board.

Born & raised on the French Riviera, Nicolas took to sailing at an early age, before engaging into professional yachting, in the Med, the Caribbean & the Indian Ocean.
He notably completed a round the world trip for more than 4 years as Chief Officer onboard the classic sailing yacht SY Shenandoah, which then led him to settle ashore in New Zealand for 8 years.
Back in Europe he continued as Captain on various yachts, sail & power, in the 20 to 40 meter range, both in the Western & Eastern Med.
His wealth of navigation experience & his composed personality will contribute happily to your cruising with “Obsessio”.
