Alex was born and raised in sunny Alicante in the south of Spain. With his Spanish father and Dutch mother, Alex spent a lot of his childhood on and in the water! Sailing around in dinghy sail boats in Mediterranean waters. Since his childhood, Alex has had the opportunity to live in multiple cities including New York, London & Madrid. This expanded his worldly knowledge and allowed him to grow his bilingual abilities. His career, for the most part, has always been ocean focused. He’s been a professional diver, an angler and a Captain! One of his favourite parts of his yachting career, is when the sails are up and we are racing around, catching the wind with the sun in his face. In his spare time, you’ll catch him fixing up his Harley, surfing the best waves or playing his drums.

After a decorated 13-year career in the Royal Navy, serving on ships ranging from aircraft carriers to minesweepers, Chris transferred to Yachting in 2009.
With multiple ocean crossings and global travel on various sized sail and motor yachts, this will be Chris’s 27th year as a sea-going Marine Engineer as he now offers Parsifal III his engineering expertise to ensure that all the yacht systems are running smoothly.
With his ever-friendly demeanor, Chris is well liked by guests and crew alike. Born in Chichester, West Sussex, Chris now resides with his wife Tricia and their dog “Sparky” in Scotland where he loves hiking the Highlands. Otherwise, you can find him playing the drums or watching Formula One racing.

Born and raised in the coastal town of Southport, England, April has always had a deep connection to the sea. Her journey into the world of yachting began with her profound love for hospitality and the desire to offer exceptional experiences to others.
With a rich background that includes working at the prestigious Royal Birkdale Golf Club and serving as an air stewardess, April is on a mission to deliver the best possible service on the land, in the air and at sea.
An adventurous spirit at heart, April thrives on immersing herself in different cultures and cherishes the little things in life. When she’s not on the water, you can find her horse riding, at a local market or trying out the local cuisine.

Marta is originally from Poland but grew up in Sunny Tenerife in the Canary Islands. She spent her childhoods on the beach, surfing with her friends and family and that is where her true love of the ocean originated.
Marta started her nautical career around ten years ago in Tenerife, utilising it’s abundance of bio marine diversity on whale watching charters. She then went on to the sailing way of life, starting off as a deckhand and quickly moving up the ranks to skipper. Always hungry for adventure, you’ll find Marta catching a wave, laughing or spending time with her loved ones around a BBQ!

Salima was born and rasied in Dorset, along the south coast of England and was introduced to the world of hospitality as a child via her parents café. Salima combined her service background and keen love of travel by joining the yachting industry in the Summer of 2016.
Though her yachting career was only going to be 6 months long, the wonders of yachting ensured she stayed. After yachting, Salima dreams of opening her own small café, focusing on homemade and local produce.
Other than travel, Salima likes to spend her time hiking, practicing yoga and being in nature in general! You’ll catch her on a paddle board or a yoga mat on her days off.

Nico was born in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa. It was during his upbringing along the Eastern Cape that he discovered his love for the ocean. Throughout the years, Nico has accumulated a wealth of experience. He proudly boasts the completion of five trans-Atlantic crossings, each undertaken aboard
large sailing yachts. One of Nico’s noteworthy achievements is the development of a planned maintenance software program called YachtWorxPMS. This innovative program is currently utilized onboard Sailing Yacht Parsifal III, where it streamlines maintenance operations, enhancing efficiency, and reducing downtime. When Nico is off-rotation, he cherishes the time he spends with his
beloved wife in the idyllic setting of Sint Maarten. Nico firmly believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, recognizing the importance of returning to the yacht refreshed and has come to realise the Caribbean is the place to refresh!

Maisie was born in London where she lived with her family. Together they moved to Bournemouth, a beautiful seaside town on the south coast of England. Maisie grew up here where she developed her love for the sea and spent many days on the beach with her friends or walking her dog Patrick. This is also where Maisie found her love for hospitality as she worked in many restaurants and became the general manager of a boutique hotel and developed her cocktail
making skills. Maisie’s passion for mixology, hospitality and the ocean steered her towards yachting where she could excel in her career whilst combining all her passions. Since then Maisie worked on a 80 meter motor yacht. As much as she loved this boat, after one year she wanted to spread out to the sailing side of yachting which has bought her here to Parsifal 3 - ready and keen as ever
for another exciting season of yachting and making incredible memories for the guests.

Lucien is a qualified Engineer/Deckhand and is skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting superyacht systems. He prioritises safety and efficiency & thrives in high-pressure environments.
Lucien comes from a professional background in Technical Design where he has been involved with companies that cater to a very high-end market. His journey in yachting began a few years ago when he decided to expand on his technical abilities and put them to use in this exciting industry, after spending two weeks sailing the Adriatic Sea around the Croatian Islands.
He grew up on the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape in South Africa and has a deep love for the ocean. His long term goals are to build a successful career within the yachting industry and progress with his engineering studies to become a fully qualified Chief Maritime Engineer. In his spare time Lucien loves to travel and explore new and wonderful places to keep his adventurous spirit satisfied and loves being outdoors camping, hiking and connecting with nature!

Gustavo is originally from Lima, Peru and started his cheffing career in Spain. He has worked in multiple cities across the region, including Madrid & Barcelona, before moving to the Balearics where he now resides in Ibiza. After more than 20 years of cheffing experience, Gustavo decided to transition to yachting in 2017.
When Gustavo is not in the galley, you will find him at his Finca surrounded by animals, listening to his favourite bands or out on the water!
