Andy comes from Scotland; where he has sailed since childhood, first racing dinghies and then crewing on local yachts. With a passion for adventure, it wasn’t long until he was drawn to distant shores. One of his early ambitions was to sail across the Atlantic, which he did at the age of 17. Having completed multiple Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons on luxury yachts, Andy consistently delivers high-end yachting experiences. What he is most proud of, however, is his expedition sailing experience. He has undertaken several superyacht expeditions; including to Antarctica, where they were the furthest south sailing yacht in the world in 2014, a transit of the fabled Northwest Passage, a season in West Greenland, as well as a couple of exploratory diving and surfing expeditions in Micronesia.
Prior to professional yachting, Andy completed a degree in Marketing and Management and, for a few years, ran a marketing company in the French ski resort of Val d’Isère. During his time in the Alps, he spent as much time up the mountain as possible. Andy is happiest on the ocean or up a mountain, and he looks forward to helping you realise your dreams on PRANA.

Originally born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Michelle was drawn to her family’s heritage and moved to the UK. Initially she worked as a senior spa therapist in a high-end hotel however, after a few years she decided to take the plunge and travel the USA. This love of travel led to her career in yachting, and she has now been working in the industry for 7 years and absolutely loves the variety and liveliness she finds there. In particular, she thrives on challenge and likes to strive to give the guests the highest levels of satisfaction.
When not on board she is working towards buying her first home in the Scottish Highlands. Partly as a step towards exploring her Scottish ancestry and because this is also the first step towards her dream of one day running a horse farm. Michelle looks forward to welcoming you and your guests on board PRANA.

Sarah comes from a small port town in County Cork, Ireland—the very spot where the Titanic made its final stop before setting sail across the Atlantic. These days, when she's not at sea, she loves nothing better than taking long walks along the local beach with her Jack Russell, Hazel.
Her journey into yachting began thanks to her sister, who spotted crew working on yachts while on holiday in Spain. At the time, Sarah was working in the hospitality industry across restaurants and hotels, but the spark was lit—and once she took her courses and stepped into the world of yachting, she has never looked back.
Creativity plays a big role in Sarah’s life. She’s always working on something, whether it’s sketching, painting, animating, knitting, or diving into a great book or film. She brings that same imaginative energy and positive attitude to life onboard, making her a valuable and vibrant member of the team.

With the sea running in her blood, Elise grew up surrounded by boats and salt air. As the daughter of a fisherman and captain, and inspired by her grandfather who sailed the globe solo, she’s always felt at home on the water. That early exposure has shaped not only her love for the sea but also her confidence and competence onboard a wide range of vessels.
Now with six years in the industry, Elise brings a unique combination of hands-on experience and leadership. She’s successfully run her own powerboat rental and charter business in Spain, taken the helm as skipper on fishing charters, and more recently stepped into the world of superyacht. Her ability to manage operations, ensure guest safety, and deliver an enjoyable experience on the water reflects both her technical skill and natural ease with people.
You’ll find Elise adventurous, dependable, and always up for a challenge. When she’s not working, she’s still in the water—diving, swimming or making the most of any water sport going.

Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Wynand fell in love with sailing and travelling after hopping on a boat last minute to cross the Atlantic. Over the last 3 years he has worked on both motor and sailing yachts, big and small. Exploring a cove after dropping anchor in a secluded bay is what it’s all about for him.
Wynand is chilled and brings a great sense of humour on board, backed up by his hands on attitude you will find he is always ready to lend a hand. When he’s not out sailing, he enjoys cooking with new flavours or exploring the underwater world through diving.

Although originally a Kiwi, born in New Zealand, Matt has lived in Greece for the last 12 years. An experienced and competent engineer, he has gained a wealth of experience in the yachting industry over the past 15 years. Growing up, Matt enjoyed tinkering with engines and sailing, and he can't believe his luck having a career that combines both.
He has seized the opportunity to travel and has explored extensively all around the world. Outside of work, you can usually find him on the golf course, in the sea, or up a mountain. Adventurous, enthusiastic, and kind, Matt is a great addition to the Prana team.
