Italian, Born 1971
Alessandro has worked with food since he was tiny, starting his journey in his grandparent’s fish restaurant as a child.
Briefly shifting focus during his university years, his love for food soon called him back – first to an Italian restaurant in Berlin and then back home to Italy, to work with three Michelin-Starred chef, Mauro Uliasi.
Two years of traditional culinary training at Culinaire Ideemburi, were followed by a stint teaching Italian cuisine, staying on at the Culinaire as a graduate.
Further top-end restaurant experience followed, before he again went home. This time to open his own gastronomic fish restaurant on the beach at Fano.
In 2012, falling in love with the Balearics, he moved to Mallorca, where he opened the much loved “L Ospite”, named among the 100 best restaurants in the Islands.
In 2017, he was looking for a change – he sold the restaurant and moved his skills to the sea, becoming a sole chef on large prestigious yachts, before arriving, four years ago, on MY RESTLESS.
Alessando loves to combine his thirst for travel with his passion for food - Brazil, Thailand, Belize, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy, he has been all over the world.
Sport, motorbikes, mountains, snowboarding, the sea, the Dolomites, walking his albino dog, Bimba, these are all things that he loves.

Australian, Born 1978
After leaving school in Australia, Jolan worked for the Australian government for five years before moving to the UK in the early 2000’s to work in Superstructure Construction. He spent those four years working hard and travelling extensively - surfing, snowboarding and backpacking.
In 2006 he moved his focus to yachting, training and qualifying in Sydney and on the east coast of Australia.
He has since spent ten years on sail yachts (30-45m), and eight years on Motor Yachts (14 to 45 m) – with the last six of these motor yacht years spent onboard MY RESTLESS.
He has made five Atlantic crossings and cruised extensively in the Med – his favourite yachting spots being the coasts of Corsica, Sardinia, Amalfi and Turkey.
He loves the travel and the variety that his job brings, as well as the freedom it gives him to set off on a long run into a new place. Returning in MY RESTLESS to the cruising grounds that he has come to know well is another huge positive for him, as well as the inevitable year-round sunshine and warm weather.
Jolan spends his free time with his young family, hiking, camping, BBQ’ing, preferably in the mountains. When he’s not busy with this, he loves reading, martial arts and trail running.

Luca has travelled widely across Europe on MY RESTLESS, his first yacht and has concluded that his favourite cruising destination is the beautiful Balearics
He loves the barefoot life at sea, always in shorts and always travelling. And when he is not engrossed with work, his spare time is spent jiu jitsu-ing.

After eight years as a professional fisherman, David moved into yachting in 2014, working in the Med, as well as the Indian Ocean and a trawler in the North Sea!
My Favourite place for cruising is Corsica .
He loves his work as an Engineer, knowing how things work and being able to fix them. But also interacting with the crew and the guests and helping out wherever he is needed.
His free time is spent with his family, travelling (he particularly loves Corsica for cruising) and indulging in winter sports.
