What an amazing week. Where you book a charter you do your best to make it a great vacation i.e. location, boat, agenda, travel but at the end of the day it comes down to the crew.

hands down Gordon and jenine are the best in the business. patient, kind, attentive with ....... it is the little things that also impact the trip, teaching a son to tie a knot or stepping aboard to amazing turkey paninis or teaching "Mexican Train".

Gordon and Jenine are also so knowledgeable of the business and able to "read the room" or guests needs. Early dinner ..... no worries. Dingying to shore for coffee ...let's go. Quick snorkel at the best rock....I know the place.
I could go on and on but overall an enjoyable and relaxing and fun week.

We could not have had a better week aboard the Salty Dog! We made memories that will last a lifetime.

Gordon and Jenine made our family, spanning ages 6-64 feel extremely comfortable and pampered all week. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the boat was amazing, the sights/excursions were amazing, and the company we shared was amazing.

Gordon and Jenine quickly became extended family members which made saying goodbye more difficult. If you are on the fence about booking this trip, don't be! You will not regret it!

As we near the end of our one week journey, it's difficult to say what we've enjoyed most. I suppose for us we will miss the friends we've made first. Gordon and Jenine have done a fantastic job of welcoming us and providing outstanding service as captain and chef/first mate. Our food has been incredible and we've been spoiled by the quality, care and presentation for each meal.
I could have never imagined a vacation like this was even an option. The islands and sea are beautiful and every day was different and offered a new adventure. We were able to relax or enjoy as much activity as we wanted.
On our final night our farewell party was filled with laughter by people who loved and cared for each other. We will never forget our trip on Salty Dog :)

What an amazing spring break trip. Out two families could not have asked for a better week. We started in St. Thomas and made our way around the BVI's. Thank you Captain Gordon and Chef Jenine fo an amazing experience. The food was incredible and everything was planned out perfectly.

It's hard to put into words how special and unique this experience has been. Captain Nick and Chef Luka went above and beyond to make every moment magical. From the amazing meals each day to the incredible snorkeling excursions, we will never forget this once in a lifetime vacation.

Our week long catamaran adventure on the Salty Dog was SPECTACULAR! Touring multiple islands, including the breathtaking BVI was a dream come true. The scenery was stunning : crystal clear turquoise waters, green island vegetation, and the most beautiful sunsets.

Best trip ever! Second time sailing in the VI's but this crew made all the difference! Captain Jenine was accommodating on the sailing route but we let her take the lead and were not disappointed. From the snorkeling, floating, water scooters, hiking lunch at the floating boats (Pizza Pi and lime out) shopping in Cruz Bay, sunset at the Windmill Bar, and the little casino we discovered.there was plenty to do but a lot of relaxing and games with kids.

Every meal Chef Luka made us was AMAZING... can't even pick a favorite.
the "Signature cocktails by Jenine" every day were delicious! I think we all agreed that the Lime in the Coconut was #1.

We had a wonderful experience with Gordon and Jenine. This trip was a surprise honeymoon for my husband and I, from his best man.

We started in St. Thomas and made our way to Caneel Bay where we jumped in the ocean and ate a lovely dinner at Zozo's.

The next day we left St. John and headed to Tortola for customs and on to Norman Island. We snorkeled the Indians, jumped off Willy T's and spent the night.

Before sailing to Coopers, we got to explore The Caves and the next stop was The Baths (one of my favorites)

This has been one of the best trips of our lives and we're so grateful to be with such a great group!

Wow!! From start to finish our trip on the Salty Dog was amazing. Our trip with guests spanning 3 generations had something for everyone - one favorite was seeing turtles in Maho Bay and everyone enjoyed snorkeling with the colorful fish. Waterlemon, Salt Pond and Lameshur were beautiful and secluded and the hikes had great views!

A true highlight was meeting our Captain , Gordon, and chef, Jenine! We so appreciated their companionship and conversation as well as guidance, kindness and humour.

Joe and Ashley got married on St John earlier in the week and we celebrated their wedding gift on Salty Dog for 5 days.
We were so blessed to have such an amazing time with Gordon and Jenine. Amazing captain cocktail hour and Jenine's fabulous meals.
They really were great company and made every minute enjoyable.

Very sad to have to leave but we will be coming back to sail with Gordon and Jenine on Salty Dog to finish seeing teh rest of the islands.

What a FANTASTIC week in paradise! We covered a lot of ground and had so many favorites along the way. The kids especially enjoyed snorkeling, tubing with Gordon. The Pirate Show conch blowing contest and the fun limbo, dance night at Potter By The Sea in Anegada.

It is hard for 15 and 14 year olds to be impressed and I am certain they had a great time!
Personal favs of the week for me were the beautiful beaches, snorkeling and finding live conch shells and the green helmet shell I found (only took pics ;), the stunning sunsets, Jenine's UNBELIEVABLE food all week and Gordon's cocktails - his painkiller was the best we had all week - sorry Soggy Dollar!

George enjoyed the abundance of activities available and asking lots of questions (Ha!Ha!)

We have never done a trip like this before and we are now officially spoiled. My husband will never stay in another resort again.

Ending an unforgettable week aboard the Salty Dog, and I’m still in awe of the entire experience! From the moment we boarded, it was clear that this would be an adventure of a lifetime. The boat itself was stunning—sleek, spacious, and equipped with every luxury you could imagine. It felt like a floating five-star hotel.

The crew, Jenine and Luka, made the experience even more special. They were attentive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring we felt comfortable and well-cared for throughout the week. Holy Camole! What an incredible week of sun, fun and shenanigans. Our group has dreamed about travelling island to island for years and finally had the time to commit this year. the Salty Dog was a "perfect" home for our group. The first night with a perfect sunset in Waterlemon Cay set the tone with breathtaking views, snorkelling and cuisine.
Captain Nick absolutely nailed the itinerary across the BVI, and Chef Luka set an incredible standard for fine dining at sea. Jumping off the Willie T, perusingThe Indians, catching lobsters and conch at Anegada and many painkillers at the Soggy Dollar Bar rounded out the trip of a lifetime. We had a lovely 4 night trip up the Drake Channel from St. Thomas to Virgin Gorda. Captain Gordon and Chef Jenine were amazing!!

We hit all our favorite snorkel spots along the way - Caneel Bay, Waterlemon Cay, The Indians, Peter, Great Dog and Eustacia, and we even got to play with the water toys. We loved the underwater scooter. Thank you Captain Gordon and Jenine for the suggestion!!!!

The food was first rate! Jenine is an amazing chef and we felt like we ate like gourmands every day!

The crew on the salty dog treated us like royalty! They were always there to offer help when needed while giving us privacy to enjoy our fellow guests, would not change one thing about our experience with them!

We cannot stop raving about the meals from our charter! From the presentation to the deliciousness...100% hit it out of the park!

This is our second time on the Leopard 50. We really appreciate the layout and the ability to walk through the galley to the front of the boat. It also never felt cramped even with 8 guests. There was ample shade and when we were at anchor, Nick added to the shade by pulling out a shade cover on the top of the bridge. It is very clean when we arrived and Nick & Luka kept it spotless throughout our charter. The new owners have made a good thing even better through a lot of their new touches. From the linens, bedding, decorative pillows and accents, as well as the quality soaps and shampoo, the upgrades were noticeable throughout.

How would you describe your crew? Were they courteous? Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable? Accompanied you on your activities/land excursions? Wore uniforms and acted professionally?:
Simply put, if one has any issues with Nick, Luka or Maddie, that is the guests issue and not the crew. We felt as if we were sailing with new found friends (in Luka's case an old friend as we sailed with him last year). They were incredibly attentive to what was needed and generally got something before we asked. They went with us on most excursions and could not have been more helpful in arranging dinners ashore, massages or transportation. Nick was a master at the helm. Very relaxed in his demeanor but confident in his abilities. Several in our group are "foodies" and Luka was always interested in sharing his cooking techniques and ideas for making delicious dishes. They were always wearing Salty Dog gear but we always felt like they were part of our crew.

Was the food great and well presented? Did the menus meet your expectations? Did your crew pay attention to your preference sheets?:
We had the privilege of having both Maddie and Luka on our charter. Both are exceptional at preparing delicious and nutritious meals in a small galley kitchen. Each had their own personality towards their menus and were conscientious of dietary needs and requests. Both are top notch at what they do.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?:
Nick knew exactly the course that was right for us. He chose a few "hot spots" for our group but also the tranquility of a peaceful bay for us to lounge in while watching a beautiful sunset. Nick was never pushing or rushed with our schedule yet we were always on time.

Additional comments about the yacht and the crew?:
Getting to know Nick and Lika better was part of our charter experience. They are truly good people that have a love of serving others in their DNA. We cannot say enough good things about how they both integrated professionalism and safety with warmth and laughter that truly made this a memory making trip. We plan to do this again and our top priority will be to seek out where Nick and Luka are chartering.

In the future, would you consider : Book the same Yacht again, Follow the crew onto another yacht. Any additional thoughts about your charter experience?:
Top notch company from booking through arriving through going home. We did use the concierge service with Nick and he did a great job for our embarkation from Red Hook. We were fortunate to return to Red Hook on Salty Dog this year. Last year we embarked on St Thomas and returned the same. That is the only wish we would have for future charters.

They were beyond awesome. Couldn't have asked for a better crew. They were professional and fun to be around.

Food was fabulous. It was way beyond our expectations.

How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your charter?
It was great. The crew was very accommodating and can't wait to book again.

They went above and beyond and made the trip very enjoyable. Only wish I could have extended the trip another week.

My family plus 2 friends just spent a week in the BVI on Salty Dog. We were all looking forward to the week but the week itself blew away our expectations.

This was by far our best vacation ever!
It's almost impossible not to have a beautiful vacation int he VI, but the siling experience made our vacation exponentially better.....this is largely in part because of the hard work and hospitality of Gordon and Jenine. It is a huge responsibility to care for 7 people.

Gordon and Jenine know all the best stops for us to visit. They were great with our kids (22,19,18,14,13)
All of their recommendations were excellent. Their polite and easy personalities made out trip so much more enjoyable. The food was excellent - I was shocked at everything my picky youngest ate.
Each table escape was elegant and charming.
We would hands-down recommend Salty Dog and in particular it's crew to any one!

Captain Nick knew all of the greatest places to go, ensuring the top notch snorkeling, turtle sightings and fun beach bars. He also was able to tandem with our family on another boat allowing extended DaCuzin togetherness!

Chef Luka made the BEST food we have ever had. Loved getting to taste his recipes from South Africa.

Such a treat to wake up & jump in the water, sip coffee while watching the most beautiful scenery ever. The Salty Dog had everything to make our vacation one we will always remember as one of the very best.

We could not have asked for 2 better weeks aboard the beautiful Salty Dog! From perfect weather to the smooth sailing and unbelievable food. I wouldn't change a thing, well, maybe I'd add on a couple of nights but that's it!!
I've waited nearly 25 years since my last trip and it was a dream to sail the BVI's again...with my family! Gordon and Jenine, you delivered a perfect trip, a balance of relaxation and adventure. Our girls will never forget it.

St. Thomas around the Virgin Gorda and back.
This was our first experience in the BVI's and our first sailing trip as a family.
From the moment we stepped on the boat it felt like a 5-star resort with incredible scenery, once in a lifetime memories, thoughtful attention and meals that made us say "This is Amazing!" over and over again. We visited so many places along our sail and had a new and fun experience at every stop.

The mornings were almost surreal with warm sunshine, perfectly neat quarters and hot coffee ready to greet us every morning. We absolutely loved getting to know our crew and Captain jenine made us feel so taken care of with her knowledge of the waterways and boat mechanics. We loved hearing about the various places we sailed through and she showed us all the perfect stops and made our trip feel 100% catered to our family. We could not be more thrilled with everything she recommended.
to make things even more insane, our private on-board chef Ludeke "Luka" created a daily menu that was out of this world. We loved every meal and "Drinks By jenine" allowed everyone to kick back and enjoy the stunning sunsets with ease.
We will tell everyone we know that this was THE BEST VACATION EVER. So thankful for the Salty Dog crew and Boat :)
