It's hard to put into words just how incredible our adventure on the Sea Dancer was
from start to finish. From the moment we stepped aboard, the good vibes flowed with
delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of laughter.
Captain JP is the ultimate captain-skilled, dependable, and full of fun! He knew
exactly where to take us for unforgettable experiences. We spotted sea turtles
swimming right alongside the boat, snorkeled in crystal-clear waters filled with colorful
fish, and even explored historic sites beneath the waves. On land, he guided us to
hidden island gems, from lively little bars to authentic local restaurants. The highlight?
A dreamy lobster dinner on the beach that felt absolutely magical!
Chef Kendra worked her own kind of magic in the galley, treating us to meals that
ranged from perfect eggs Benedict in the morning to the most flavorful fish tacos by
day. One evening, she and Captain JP teamed up on the grill and created a feast that
we're still talking about.
Our stateroom with its private bath was super comfortable and had plenty of space for
the essentials (let's be honest-mostly shorts and swimsuits). The boat itself was
fantastic for lounging, napping, or just soaking up the sun and sea breeze.
We can't recommend this nautical escape enough-it was pure joy from beginning to
end! We'd jump at the chance to sail away on the Sea Dancer again in a heartbeat.
-Peggy
We sailed with Captain John Paul and Chef Kendra through the Windward Islands and had an unforgettable journey.
Captain John Paul is a world-class sailor with excellent knowledge of sailing and navigation. We felt completely safe in his hands, and he shared his expertise in such a way that made the trip both educational and relaxing.
The Sea Dancer itself is a beautiful yacht-well-maintained, spacious, and very comfortable.
Chef Kendra prepared outstanding meals, always beautifully presented, from banana chocolate chip pancakes to tuna nachos and freshly baked bread. Her creativity and attention to detail made every meal a delight.
Beyond the meals, Chef Kendra was always warm and welcoming, providing snacks and refreshments whenever w e asked.
We visited stunning islands and quaint villages throughout the Grenadines, and each stop felt like a hidden treasure. Captain John Paul gave us excellent recommendations for dining, drinks, and local entertainment ashore, enhancing our entire experience.
The accommodations on board were comfortable, with wonderful amenities that made us feel right at home. Between lounging in the sun, enjoying fabulous meals, and exploring beautiful destinations, the Sea Dancer provided exactly the vacation we were hoping for.
We highly recommend this cruise— it was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and luxury.
"Our week aboard the Sea Dancer was the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and luxury. Captain John Paul' s expertise and Chef Kendra' s incredible meals made this the sailing trip of a lifetime!"
-Elizabeth
Our time aboard *Sea Dancer* was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warmth, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively conversation that set the tone for the entire journey.
Captain JP is a seasoned sailor whose skill and knowledge gave us complete confidence on the water. Beyond that, he was an attentive and thoughtful guide —taking us to a secluded spot where we watched sea turtles swimming right from the boat, leading us on snorkeling adventures filled with colorful fish and historic sites, and showing us hidden island bars and restaurants we never would have discovered on our own. One of the absolute highlights was the magical lobster dinner he arranged for us on the beach-an evening we'll never forget.
Chef Kendra elevated the trip with her incredible cooking. From perfectly prepared eggs Benedict to fresh fish tacos, every meal was memorable. One evening, she and Captain JP teamed up to prepare a grilled dinner on board that was simply outstanding.
Our stateroom and private bath were spacious, comfortable, and had more than enough storage for everything we brought-though with swimsuits and shorts as our daily uniform, we found we needed very little.
This trip gave us an entirely new perspective on the Caribbean and sailing life. We cannot recommend
*Sea Dancer* highly enough, and we are already dreaming about when we can return to repeat this unforgettable adventure.
-Sam
We decided on taking one more family getaway before the Summer draws to a close. We just didn’t know exactly what to do. We already traveled quite a bit over the past two months, but some things opened up on our calendar and we said why not.
We started looking around Social Media and consulted our old friend Google, and that’s when we stumbled across the idea of a private, week-long, Caribbean Charter. Following a bit of research, we discovered Sea Dancer. Looking back now, after a solid week of sailing the Grenadines with my wife, our two kids, and my mother-in-law, I can say it was a fantastic decision.
Sea Dancer is a great-sized Catamaran in very good condition. There was plenty of room aboard to share company and even find quiet alone time as well. Captain JP and Chef Natalia helped make our first time aboard a live-onboard charter wonderful.
It’s not the same as staying at a luxury resort on some island which is what we are used to. It is, however, a wonderful option for something truly different. You get to experience the Caribbean from a whole new perspective.
Sailing from island to island, relaxing under star filled skies at night, experiencing sunrises and sunsets from new anchor and mooring spots each day … let’s just say the entire family had a great time.
Respectfully,
The Collins Family
Our party of six friends sailed with Captain JD Dunaway and Chef Mate Kendra on the Sea Dancer in April. We had a wonderful and memorable adventure! The boat is beautiful, our itinerary gorgeous and the good time together the best. Captain Paul knew the waters and islands well. Chef Mate Kendra prepared fabulous meals with the freshest of ingredients.
There were also plenty of water toys and lovely ports.
Your Sea Dancer adventure awaits you!
