Born in Brittany, France, Captain Mika grew up on Belle-Île-en-Mer, where his passion for the sea began at an early age. His maritime career started in commercial shipping, where he progressed from bosun to first mate aboard a passenger vessel. Seeking new challenges, he transitioned to the luxury yacht industry, joining the charter sailing yacht Douce France in Southeast Asia as First Mate in 2006, later stepping up as Relief Captain during his five-year tenure.
Mika then returned to commercial shipping, gaining further experience as Chief Engineer on a multicat in 2014. With a strong foundation in safety, charter operations, and vessel management, he moved back into yachting and is now at the helm of M/Y Sensei, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests with his attentive and professional approach.

Jean Maxime is a dynamic and technically skilled crew member who brings hands-on expertise, strong work ethic, and a service-oriented approach to M/Y Sensei. Based in Monaco, he has been actively involved in the yachting sector across various operational and guest-facing roles, including support during the Monaco Yacht Show and high-end charter logistics throughout the Western Mediterranean.
With solid experience in detailing, varnishing, carpentry, and watersports assistance, Jean Maxime is also certified in Powerboat Level 2 and ensures smooth operation of the yacht’s chase boat. Known for his reliability, professionalism, and multilingual communication, he is a valued team player dedicated to delivering high standards both on deck and in guest service.

Originally from New Zealand and currently based in Antibes, she combines over three years of experience in private family service with a natural talent for anticipating guests’ needs and maintaining a refined onboard environment.
With a background in psychology and management, Jean has honed exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills through her previous roles as a full-time nanny and personal assistant, managing everything from event planning and travel arrangements to fine-detail housekeeping and guest-facing service. Her land-based hospitality experience, along with recent yacht housekeeping training and STCW certification, have provided her with a seamless transition into yachting.
Jean is passionate about delivering a high standard of care, and her attention to detail, approachable personality, and commitment to guest satisfaction make her a valued member of the Sensei crew.

His expertise spans a wide range of vessels, including renowned superyachts such as M/Y Lady S and M/Y Lady MM, where he honed his skills in engineering, maintenance, and technical operations at the highest level.
Holding STCW VI/1-2-3-4 and STCW III/1-2-3 certifications, he ensures that all onboard systems run efficiently and safely, providing guests and crew with a seamless experience. Known for his technical precision, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to excellence, he is an invaluable asset to the team.

Gedreik grew up in Cannes, South of France. After finishing school, he split his time between various jobs and traveling the world, visiting countries such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Dubai, and many more. His passion for the sea was ignited during an inspiring journey delivering a sailing yacht from Marseille to Livorno, Italy. This experience motivated him to pursue a career that combined his love of travel with working at sea. In 2019, he entered the yachting industry and has steadily climbed the ranks from Deckhand to Chief Officer. Known for his resilience, strong work ethic, and great sense of humor, Gedreik is always dedicated to delivering excellence on board.

Harry began his culinary journey in 2001 as an apprentice at the Hilton Resort & Spa in Mauritius, quickly advancing to Senior Chef de Partie at Lemuria Resort in the Seychelles, where he spent three years refining his skills. In 2005, he transitioned to the yachting world, joining Princess Cruises for two years before returning to land as a Sous Chef at Relais & Château in Mauritius.
With a passion for travel and a desire to expand his culinary expertise, Harry worked in Canada, the Maldives, Mozambique, and Italy, where he developed his own signature style as a Head Chef. He later stepped aboard the charter sailing yachts S/Y Douce France and S/Y Demoiselles, gaining valuable experience in luxury yachting cuisine. Harry masterfully blends tropical flavors with Asian, African, and European influences, creating light, elegant, and flavorful dishes using simple, fresh ingredients. His cooking techniques include sous vide, ensuring precision and depth of flavour in every dish.

Cinthya has now spent over four years working on private and charter yachts across the Caribbean and Mediterranean, consistently delivering exceptional service. Her strengths lie in interior detailing, silver service, event preparation, inventory and budget management, and personalized guest experiences. She is confident managing all aspects of the interior and thrives in team environments that demand both precision and warmth.
Currently leading the interior team on board M/Y Sensei, Cinthya continues to refine her leadership and service skills while ensuring that every charter is executed to the highest standard.
