Matthew brings over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with his most recent role aboard 40m M/Y Altavita, before joining M/Y ASHENA. His impressive career also includes working on 25m Catamaran Endless Horizon and 28m M/Y Noi, serving as the sole chef, sourcing the freshest local ingredients, and crafting menus tailored to guests' preferences.
Beyond yachting, Matthew has honed his skills in high-end restaurants, showcasing his culinary expertise and made appearances on various television programs in Malta. His extensive experience spans both Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons, providing him with a deep understanding of diverse cultures and ingredients. This exposure has inspired Matthew to experiment with innovative flavour combinations, further refining his culinary artistry.

Dominic began his maritime career in 2019, starting out on charter fishing vessels before smoothly transitioning into the yacht industry. Since then, he has gained valuable experience working aboard a range of yachts, including the 60m M/Y IDOL, 23m M/Y MAFLINDO, and M/Y Vavav Vroom.
He has a wealth of experience across the deck department and works closely alongside the captain to ensure a smooth cruising experience. Dominic is always ready to lend a hand with enthusiasm.
Outside of work, he is passionate about skating, fishing, and building and flying radio-controlled cars.

Of Turkish original and a professional merchant marine engineer, Akir is following by Bill’s example. They are often working on a rotating system so Shaha is never left without technical cover. His efforts maintaining the vessel over winter is clearly seen, in the layers of varnish, the squeaky-clean engine room and machinery spaces. Akir will also assist the chief officer in water sports. Akir speaks very good English, he is a very sweet man and family orientated. He takes a lot of interest in people and is a pleasure to talk to.

Suzy is a warm and dedicated professional with a passion for creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests. She has been part of the yachting industry since 2022, gaining valuable experience aboard vessels such as the 47m M/Y Crystal Lady, where she played a key role in maintaining both the interior and exterior during the winter season. Suzy also worked on the 60m M/Y Lusine, where her responsibilities included table setting, housekeeping management, and laundry service. Beyond her time at sea, Suzy brings over eight years of hospitality experience, further enhancing her ability to deliver exceptional service. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, water sports, and exploring her passion for aviation.

Captain Varol is a seasoned maritime professional with a rich tapestry of experiences navigating the high seas. From working onboard the 48m M/Y Sea Falcon a private motor yacht, to 45m M/Y Aqua Librium. With a background as a shipyard project manager, he brings a meticulous eye for detail to every aspect of yacht operation. Varol’s unwavering priority is the safety and comfort of all onboard, delivering nothing short of firt-class service with a focus on excellence. Leading a proficient eam, he ensures that the yacht is maintained to the highest standards, earning accolades from both owners and charter guests. His track record speaks volumes, with charters repeatedly booking under his helm. Joining the yacht in 2025, he eagerly anticipates welcoming guests onboard and crafting an unforgettable holiday experience for them.

Bill is a Turkish national that has worked as a professional merchant marine engineer on board Shaha, for the last 14 years. You can be rest assured that the yachts systems and equipment will never fail to perform and will exceed your demands. Bill plays an important role in guest care and water sports making sure the two tenders, and vast array of skiing, fishing, snorkeling and water sports equipment are all serviced and ready for your immediate enjoyment. His continued winter maintenance of the safety equipment, engines, generators etc will be evident as soon as you step on board.

Nikkie brings a wealth of experience from both the cruise ship and yachting industries. She has worked aboard sailing yachts including the 65m S/Y Creole and 52m S/Y Squall, gaining hands-on experience in all areas of the interior.
Nikkie takes great pride in maintaining a beautifully presented interior and is known for her meticulous attention to detail. She genuinely enjoys creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their time on board is both relaxing and memorable.
With a calm, professional presence and a great sense of humour, she’s a valued team member. In her downtime, Nikkie enjoys exploring new places and expressing her creativity through drawing and sketching.
