George brings nearly a decade of culinary experience to Sol Madinina, having worked as a professional chef since 2017 across some of Europe’s most vibrant food destinations, including Greece, Austria, and Spain. His international background has shaped a versatile and creative cooking style, blending Mediterranean freshness with refined European techniques. From seaside tavernas in Greece to alpine kitchens in Austria and dynamic Spanish restaurants, George has developed a deep appreciation for seasonal ingredients, bold flavors, and beautifully balanced dishes. On board Sol Madinina, he crafts memorable dining experiences that reflect both his travels and his passion for hospitality, tailoring menus to guests’ preferences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Calm, dedicated, and detail-oriented, George thrives in the galley, where he transforms fresh local produce and premium ingredients into vibrant, flavorful cuisine that perfectly complements life at sea.

Deckhand Stew: Alkis - Evangelos Katsoulis

Deckhand Stew Alkis brings a refined yet approachable style of service on board, combining high-end hospitality with hands-on deck support to ensure a smooth and enjoyable charter experience. With a strong passion for guest care and life at sea, he plays a key role in creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere throughout each voyage.
His background includes experience in boutique hotels and fine-dining restaurants in Santorini, as well as work in renowned wineries across France and Switzerland, shaping his attention to detail, service standards, and ability to anticipate guests’ needs. From elegant table settings and well-crafted cocktails to attentive daily service, Alkis delivers with professionalism and ease.
Complementing his hospitality skills, Alkis also has a solid technical background from his work as an IT technician for a global firm. This makes him adaptable, resourceful, and dependable in dynamic onboard environments, always ready to assist wherever needed.
An enthusiastic water sports supporter, Alkis enjoys SUP boarding, swimming, and assisting guests with water activities while ensuring safety and comfort at all times. His warm personality, teamwork, and proactive attitude make him an integral part of the crew and a familiar, trusted presence on board.
Together with Captain Socrates, Alkis contributes to a consistently high standard of service, ensuring guests feel cared for, relaxed, and free to enjoy every moment of their charter.

Deckhand: Manos Megalokonomos

Manos is a motivated and safety-focused Deckhand with hands-on experience across sailing yachts, high-performance powerboats and yacht base operations. With a strong mechanical background and a genuine passion for life at sea, he brings a practical, solution-oriented mindset to every task on deck. He is actively building sea time while developing his technical skills on both monohull and multihull sailing yachts. Known for his calm demeanor under pressure and strong work ethic, he approaches challenges with focus, reliability and attention to detail. Manos takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and vessel care, while also delivering a warm and professional experience for guests on board. Adaptable and team-oriented, he thrives in collaborative environments and values the opportunity to learn from experienced crew members. Fluent in Greek and English, he communicates easily with both crew and guests in an international environment. Whether assisting with deck operations, supporting guest activities or helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the yacht, Manos brings enthusiasm, dedication and a positive attitude to the crew of Sol Madinina.
