Captain Matthew is a highly experienced and professional captain from the United Kingdom who has been on a lifelong nautical journey - both professionally and recreationally. At 10 years old, Matthew knew he wanted to be a yacht captain, and his yachting career now spans over 30 years. More than half of those years has been at the helm, sailing extensively for 17 years beginning in his early childhood around the British Isles, and later completing an Atlantic row from the Canaries to Antigua.
Matthew has navigated vessels ranging from 80ft to 426ft in various parts of the world, both charter and private, giving him a strong background and the keen ability to always ensure the safety and enjoyment of his guests.

Jeraine ensures all yacht systems are working well at all times and makes any needed improvement as smoothly as possible so as not to disrupt guest experiences. Originally from Jamaica, he spent five years working as an engineer aboard commercial gas tankers and cargo ships, with the last three years in the yachting industry applying his strong skills to the professional operation of Solemates. He enjoys getting his hands dirty and fixing things, as well as the opportunity to work with people from various cultural backgrounds and travelling to exciting new places.

Sheila brings her incredible attention to detail and excellent communication skills to oversee and manage the entire interior of Solemates, ensuring everything runs smoothly while providing superior hospitality service to the discerning guests onboard. Originally from the United Kingdom, she leads a team of three interior stewardesses and together they create an atmosphere for luxury memory-making aboard Solemates.

The 118' motor yacht Solemates, delivered by Mulder Shipyard in 2022, is a stunning vessel designed by Claydon Reeves with interiors by Vickers Studio. Built on a fast displacement aluminium hull with a 26' 3" beam, she offers a sleek silhouette and spacious accommodations across two decks.
EXTERIOR -- Her elegant lines and straight bow enhance both performance and interior volume. The expansive “two-and-a-half deck” design maximizes exterior space for relaxation and entertaining. Guests can enjoy the spacious main aft deck and luxurious sun deck with a spa pool, bar, and retractable TV. The beach club, garage with Williams 625 tender, and large swim platform add convenience for
water activities.
INTERIOR -- Solemates’s interior is a blend of oak and teak, complemented by vibrant artwork, including iconic Andy Warhol prints. The open-plan main deck integrates living and dining areas, complete with
a sit-at bar and balcony for alfresco dining. Advanced tech, including iPad-controlled entertainment and ambient settings, ensures modern luxury throughout.
ACCOMMODATION -- Accommodating 8 guests in 4 luxurious cabins, including a main-deck owner’s suite, Solemates is designed for comfort and privacy. The flexible guest cabins and well-appointed crew quarters ensure the highest standards of service.
PERFORMANCE -- Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines, Solemates cruises comfortably at 12 knots, reaching a top speed of 18 knots. Her impressive range and robust design allow for extended voyages and unrestricted navigation, meeting the highest safety standards.
