About Tarmo

Purpose-built for Arctic exploration, Tarmo invites guests to experience the polar world with confidence and quiet sophistication, offering privileged access to remote and spectacular landscapes.

Perfect for intimate private groups, she offers a far more personal and immersive way to experience the Arctic – where flexibility and meaningful shared moments define the journey.

Smaller and more agile than large cruise ships, Tarmo is able to navigate secluded bays, sheltered inlets and remote anchorages beyond the reach of larger vessels, unlocking a more exclusive and authentic encounter with this unique landscape and its native wildlife.

Accommodating up to twelve guests across six comfortable cabins, the vessel achieves a rare balance of privacy and conviviality, creating an atmosphere that feels both warm and effortlessly welcoming. Designed for journeys that unfold at a measured pace, Tarmo’s generous communal spaces encourage relaxed conversation, spectacular panoramic views and unhurried enjoyment of life at sea.

With delicious warming food at the ready from your accomplished chef, and expert local knowledge from your captain and their crew, each day is filled with fascination, awe and memories that will last a lifetime.

Guests can gather in the bar and library, home to a curated collection of books and films dedicated to the Arctic regions – an inviting setting to reflect on the day’s discoveries or deepen one’s connection to the landscapes beyond. A dedicated video and library lounge offers a comfortable retreat for quieter moments and downtime between excursions.

After active days ashore exploring remote coastlines and polar wilderness, the onboard sauna provides a restorative sanctuary – an indulgent space to relax, warm up and recharge in complete comfort.

Equipped with two expedition Zodiacs, Tarmo offers privileged access to secluded shores, hidden landing points and otherwise unreachable corners of the coastline, enriching every itinerary with a deeper sense of exploration.

Refined without sacrificing authenticity, Tarmo represents the ultimate expression of expedition yachting: ideal for guests who seek privacy and authenticity while remaining fully immersed in the spirit of adventure.
