After 5 years as a qualified Auto Technician, Luke has transitioned into
the yacht industry and completed one season.
He has a strong technical foundation and hands-on mechanical expertise. Having grown up around jetski’s and boats, he has developed a deep
familiarity with marine mechanics and has actively serviced them.
Luke grew up in South Africa in a very active family that owned boats and
jet skis. From a very young age, he was taught how to operate both,
and became a proficient wakeboarder and also raced jetski’s.

Tayyarah's previous cook/deckhand, Diego, is now the Captain after +4 years onboard. He grew up in Italy and has over ten years of experience in the nautical industry. Not only is Diego knowledgeable about yachting, he is also passionate about cooking and has fantastic culinary skills.
Over the years, he has held various positions that have allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of boat management.
Diego infuses passion and care during the preparation of all of his dishes, offering a fresh and authentic taste of Mediterranean cuisine to his guests.
He finds great satisfaction in delighting the palates of his guests, ensuring that every meal on board Tayyarah is a memorable experience

Having gained experience across hospitality, retail and internships in Sweden and abroad, she is highly adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments with long working hours.
Emma graduated from a Sales and Service programme, where she developed excellent guest relations skills, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guests’ needs. Positive, proactive and eager to learn, she is a dedicated team player who always gives her best to maintain high standards onboard and ensure guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
