Her career began in hospitality, where she spent eight years working across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada, developing her service skills and building a strong professional foundation. In 2006, she transitioned into yachting, starting on sailing yachts before progressing to competitive regattas and a full circumnavigation. With over 100,000nm under her belt, Angeline has cemented her expertise and passion for the maritime industry, demonstrating unwavering dedication and excellence. Beyond her professional life, she is a true explorer who enjoys hiking mountain trails, scuba diving vibrant reefs, and carving down ski slopes. Staying fit, active, and healthy is a core part of her lifestyle, fuelling her adventurous spirit and love for discovery.

Leigh’s career is rooted in his love for the ocean, nurtured in Tauranga, New Zealand. Growing up with the family yacht, Estella, summer cruises became a tradition. His passion for maritime activities led him to participate in sailing camps and surfing competitions during his youth, achieving notable success on New Zealand surfing team in 1994. He earned a bachelor's degree from Otago University before relocating to Sydney, where his sailing passion became a profession. He has commanded diverse vessels, predominantly in the Pacific, while navigating challenging routes such as the Northwest Passage as well as exploring Patagonia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian Ocean. Inclusive, progressive, and friendly, he maximises crew potential to deliver unparalleled experiences for guests on voyages across the world's oceans.

Leigh Yeoman

Savannah is from Hillcrest, South Africa, a small town outside Durban, where she grew up sailing on her gran’s small boat, hiking, and spending time at the beach. Her love for the ocean and the outdoors led her naturally into yachting. She holds a bachelor of arts in fashion and business from Fedisa in Cape Town and has gained two years of experience on yachts up to 96m, rotating through housekeeping, laundry, and service. She's cruised the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and U.S. East Coast, as well as completing a crossing between the BVI and Fort Lauderdale. Savannah is detail-oriented and brings a calm, hands-on work ethic to the team. She enjoys being active, hiking, and spending time outdoors and is currently working towards her PADI Open Water certification as she continues to grow within the industry.

Espe grew up in Hartbeespoort, a small town in South Africa, and joined Treehouse this year with five years of industry experience, having learned the ropes from the ground up. Hardworking and forward-thinking, he brings strong expertise that ensures the smooth operation of the deck team. Beyond his well-honed boat-handling skills, Espe holds a bachelor of law degree and previously worked as a general practice lawyer before transitioning to yachting. A talented musician, he plays several instruments, with the violin being his favourite. Like many South Africans, he is a passionate sports enthusiast and particularly enjoys rugby. In his spare time, you will often find him on the golf course, enjoying nature and perfecting his swing.

British Captain Danny Blanchard was born in Essex and started travelling at 18. Coming from a family of water sports enthusiasts, a sense of adventure was instilled early. He began as a diving instructor in Thailand for four years before pursuing a 16-year yachting career. Danny progressed quickly to Captain, enhancing his maritime knowledge through experience and training. He has worked on both sailing and motor yachts from 30 to 100m, including competing in transatlantic races such as the ARC. Danny runs a dynamic, sharp, team-oriented crew with a strong emphasis on training and education to encourage progression. In his downtime, he enjoys improving his golf swing or taking long-distance motorcycle trips. A genuine all-rounder, he goes above and beyond to provide a spectacular charter experience.

Elizabeth grew up in Devon but now calls Cornwall home. After studying applied marine sciences and engineering at university, she embarked on a career in high-end hospitality, naturally leading to yachting. She spent nearly 12 years on vessels up to 142m before joining Treehouse in 2022. A veteran of fast-paced environments, she has sailed the Pacific, Mediterranean, and Caribbean, gaining expertise in yacht builds and transatlantic crossings. Renowned for her leadership, she excels at managing and motivating interior teams to deliver consistent guest satisfaction. Beyond yachting, she is an accomplished equestrian, competing in cross-country and show jumping. She is also a passionate scuba diver, having earned her Divemaster certification in Thailand, where she met her partner, our Captain Danny.

Elizabeth Blanchard

Jenna grew up on the border of Kruger National Park in South Africa. Since graduating from high school, she has been travelling while working in various roles, including as an au pair in the USA, a restaurant manager in Cape Town, and as a yacht crew member since beginning her career in 2017. Always loving to stay busy and active, Jenna enjoys all sports and has recently pursued her passion for Pilates by completing advanced mat work and reformer teacher training courses. Jenna and Bryce, our Second Officer, spend their free time renovating their properties, surfing, playing tennis, and catching up with family. Jenna has a calm and friendly demeanour, and she looks forward to making guests' time on board a memorable experience.

Bryce grew up in a small coastal town called Amanzimtoti in Durban, South Africa. He originally pursued a career in offshore rigging and rope access, which he began in 2017, completing a few offshore contracts in Ghana. However, the oil industry proved to be very unstable, and as long-term contracts were hard to come by, he decided to join his partner, our Second Stewardess Jenna, in the yachting industry in 2019. He has now obtained his OOW and has recently been promoted to Second Officer. In his spare time, Bryce enjoys surfing, golf, and exploring new places. In the future, alongside his blossoming yachting career, he would like to buy, renovate, and sell houses to develop a property portfolio.

David is from the South of England and grew up in Bournemouth, a seaside town where he developed a passion for the maritime industry from an early age. After completing a four-year carpentry apprenticeship, a highly sought-after skill set in the industry, he secured his first deckhand position. After gaining experience and earning his OOW certification, David now aims to obtain his Master 3000 ticket in the near future. Since joining Treehouse in 2023, he has embraced his love for travel and exploration and is eager to share adventures with like-minded crew members. When not sailing, David enjoys sports such as football, hiking, cycling, diving, and skiing. As a qualified ski instructor, he spends much of his free time on the slopes.

Alexandre grew up in Costa Rica, surrounded by natural beauty and a vibrant culture. Much of his early years were spent working in his family-run business, which eventually inspired him to open his own restaurant. His introduction to yachting came through a close friend who spoke highly of the lifestyle, the people one meets, and the unforgettable experiences it offers. Alexandre quickly realised that yachting was the perfect way to combine his passions for travel, adventure, and the sea. Determined to build a career in the industry, he is now focused on working hard and earning his professional certifications to advance further. Outside of work, Alexandre loves the beach, surfing, and exploring new destinations. He enjoys spending time with his dogs and is a true food enthusiast, always eager to savour a great meal or try new cuisines.
