Growing up in South Africa, Michael has always been active, representing his province in water polo and swimming. His interest in sport, conditioning and rehabilitation led him to obtain Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Biokinetics. It was Mike’s love for travel, coupled with an energetic lifestyle, that propelled him into yachting in 2016. He has since progressed to Navigational Officer in 2022 after working on vessels such M/Y GO, SOLO, Lioness V.
Mike applies his enthusiastic nature to provide guests with a fun, relaxing and action-packed vacation.

Andrew is from the West Cork region of Ireland and still resides in this beautiful country. After completing his bachelor’s degree in marine and plant engineering at the age of 22, he travelled around the world on board commercial vessels as a marine engineer for 9 years. In 2019 Andrew diverted his career to working on board super yachts when he joined M/Y Dar. Thereafter, he worked on M/Y Solo (now Casino Royale) before joining Wheels in 2022.
Andrew is a hands-on engineer with vast experience who is highly skilled in his role. You can have peace of mind knowing he has the ability to comply with international standards and regulations.

Allardt was born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. During the family holidays, he learned about sailing and enjoyed it so much that he decided to make a career out of it. He attended the Maritime Institute of "Willem Barentsz" on the Dutch island, Terschelling, where he lived for five years. After receiving his license, Ard worked on heavy cargo vessels, cruise ships, and bulk carriers before embarking on his yachting career during which he has spent time on well-known vessels such as Skat, Eos, and Katara.
Ard brings with him a wealth of knowledge and understanding of what is required to run, maintain, and improve the vessel’s mechanics to achieve top standards.

Frank was born in George, Western Cape of South Africa. Growing up on the coast his love and passion for the ocean started at very early age. He grew up surfing at Victoria Bay, where he also life guarded through High School. Frank started his yachting career in 2013, he worked his way through the ranks to chief officer on several charter yachts such as M/Y Seanna, Solandge and Laurel. His love to the industry has driven him to obtain his captains license in 2022.
Frank loves working with guests, always happy to assist and deliver outstanding service.
Frank Tolken
First Officer
Will grew up in Chester in the North of England. From a young age he sailed, swam, and like most budding engineers… had a knack for taking things apart (and leaving them in a thousand pieces).
Will has been in the superyacht industry for 6 years. He has worked on private and charter vessels throughout the world. Previously he worked on an 80 meter, 90-year-old classic motor yacht, and a more modern 75-meter motor yacht.

Tertius is originally from Pretoria, South Africa, but currently lives in the UK with his family. Before getting into yachting, he studied BCom Informatics at the University of Pretoria and worked in the Information Technology (IT) field for 7 years. After spending 6 years in the UAE working on M/Y Rabdan, one of the yachts in the royal fleet, Terry joined M/Y WHEELS in the Mediterranean in 2018.
Terry’s background and interest in IT is of great value on board as he is responsible for ensuring that the communication, entertainment and navigational systems are operational and functioning at optimal capacity.

Bradley grew up in Hillcrest, a town on the outskirts of Durban, South Africa. Throughout his travels, he found an interest in exploring new places and came across the yachting industry. He initially started out on deck, but has spent the last 8 years working towards his licenses as an engineer. He has been fortunate enough to extensively travel the Bahamas, Caribbean, Thailand, Hawaii, North Coast of the USA and the Mediterranean on board vessels such as M/Y Plvs Vltra, Amarula Sun and Volpini II.
A real problem solver at heart, Brad is always ready to take on a challenge with his positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Lötter was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa. A passionate and talented rugby player at school level, Lötter pursued his rugby career at the age of 22 by moving abroad. He enjoyed travelling all over Europe where he met new people and experienced different cultures. His travels sparked love for architecture, which he studied. After gaining his first bit of yachting experience on board M/Y Pena, Lötter was pleased to join his sister, Ichte, on board WHEELS in 2022.
Naturally a very sporty and grounded individual, Lötter will assist you on any shore excursion and with all sport-related activities.
Mathias Lotter Pretorius

Rudi grew up in Pretoria, South Africa. He left home 17 years ago to pursue a career in yachting. He has been working at sea ever since and now lives in Mallorca with his family. Starting his career off on Cyan, Rudi progressed through the roles of deckhand, bosun and finally chief officer. He also worked on yachts like Attitude, Lady A and Z and has extensively cruised in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, as well as the Bahamas, Caribbean and the Pacific.

Andrea was born and raised in a beautiful seaside town of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She first traveled abroad at the age of 19, which sparked her passion for experiencing life through different cultures. Having worked on board M/Y Yalla and Solo (now Casino Royale) Andrea has spent most of her time in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and has been fortunate enough to cruise the Red Sea and the Maldives.
Andrea is a confident and friendly individual, who strives to make something positive out of every situation. Passionate about hospitality, she is a perfectionist when it comes to executing plans.
