Alongside his chef credentials, he is also a qualified bartender and has international hospitality experience as a restaurant owner, F&B director, and tour leader.

A French national holding a Yachtmaster Offshore 200GT (commercially endorsed) and a B1/B2 visa, Romuald has captained prestigious vessels including M/Y Sea Leopard (101’), Akula(Sanlorenzo 86’), and Silvermama (AB 92’), with navigation experience spanning the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and the Bahamas.
Highly skilled in jet drive propulsion systems, particularly KAMEWA, he offers precision in both cruising and maneuvering.
His background also includes extensive maintenance and refit coordination, gained through his work with the Rodriguez Group, a dealer for Mangusta and
Leopard yachts.
Calm under pressure and driven by a hands-on approach, Romuald combines operational excellence with a passion for watersports and
diving, creating a safe, professional, and enjoyable environment for both guests and crew onboard 1K.

Martin is a skilled and versatile French deckhand whose passion for the sea is matched by a strong background in both yacht maintenance and watersports.
With hands-on experience onboard the 30m M/Y Esmeralda of the Seas, Martin has confidently handled duties such as mooring, teak scrubbing, tender driving
(Williams 4.5m), and guest watersports setup including wakeboarding, water-skiing, and inflatable toys.
His previous years working as a shipyard technician honed his expertise in carpentry, laminating, gelcoat repair, plumbing, and electrics—making him a highly valuable asset on both deck and during shipyard
periods.
Holding qualifications such as STCW (CFBS), ENG1, AEC1, and a Deckhand Certificate, Martin combines professionalism with an easy-going, adventurous
spirit. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find him kitesurfing, diving, or building campervans—always active, always learning, and fully committed to delivering

With a strong foundation in high-end hospitality across Europe, Canada, and Australia, she excels in housekeeping, cocktail service, and VIP guest relations.
Grace recently gained her first yacht experience as Watchkeeper onboard the 35.2m M/Y King Power, where she demonstrated great attention to detail and responsibility while maintaining the vessel in port.
She holds STCW, ENG1, and Food Safety Level 2 certifications, and is eager to grow her yachting career as a hands-on, proactive team player. Always smiling and adaptable under pressure, Grace brings a positive energy to the crew and a commitment to delivering polished, attentive service to guests onboard 1K.

Bringing over two decades of experience in the yachting industry, our Chief Engineer is a seasoned professional with a passion for cutting-edge propulsion systems and next-generation marine technology.
Specializing in MTU engines—including the 2000 and 4000 series—he has served as Chief Engineer on a variety of prestigious yachts such as M/Y Fanamax (34m), M/Y Princess (40m), and M/Y Galatea (Heesen, 40m), as well as following the construction of multiple vessels up to 43m. His deep technical knowledge spans everything from engines, generators, and A/C systems to electronics, tenders, and Crestron smart control systems.
With strong technical communication skills, he’s known for his hands-on expertise, proactive maintenance approach, and team-oriented mindset. Certified with a 750 kW license, AEC 1500kW, STCW, and multiple MTU training qualifications, he ensures the safety, comfort, and smooth operation of all engineering systems onboard 1K.
