Petar, born in Croatia, from his early childhood felt a passion for cooking and his dream was to become a professional chef. Petar started out his career at the school for tourism and hospitality in Split, Croatia, where he attended chef classes from 2007 until 2010. After graduating he worked in locally-based fine dining restaurants, where he learned to cook traditional Dalmatian food. At the same time, having grown up on the Croatian island of Hvar he was familiar with the sea and seafood. No wonder Petar first specialized in the Mediterranean cuisine, staying always interested in new dishes from other countries and regions, leading to a particular combination of knowledge both of the Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. After gathering one year of practical experience Petar became the chef in a top-class restaurant on the Croatian island of Barc. After another year he changed to a fine dining restaurant in the heart of Split where he stayed for two years before he went back to one of his former employers and was in charge of live catering for major and mega events such as yacht parties, weddings and operas. Soon after that Petar noticed that he wanted to combine his expertise on cooking and catering with his passion for the sea started his first position on a locally-based Gulet. Soon he noticed that he wanted to focus more on high-end cooking and after an interim position in a local luxury restaurant Petar became the exclusive chef onboard M/Y CHRISTINA in 2019. After one season he decided to gather more onboard experience and joined the team onboard the 43m Mangusta EVA 4 EVA for 2 years before he changed to his current chef position onboard M/Y 2LADIES in spring 2023.
