Born and raised along the coasts of Portofino, Mirko started sailing competitively at a young age. He gained incredible life experience while balancing his time between racing and completing his Bachelor of Science degree in material engineering. In 2010, while visiting Antigua, he changed his career course, opting to spend his time on the ocean over countless hours in research labs. Following multiple Transatlantic crossings and busy charter seasons, throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising territories, he moved to Miami. 8 years later, he considers himself a local and holds a vast knowledge of Florida, The Bahamas and the entire US East Coast. Mirko has a great respect for the ocean and can speak English, Italian, Spanish, French and Croatian. He looks forward to welcoming you on board 50 FIFTY where you can relax in comfort, while making treasured memories to last a lifetime.
