Originally from Hawaii, Captain Shawn brings over two decades of maritime expertise to ADIOS. He began his yachting journey as a teenager and has since built a dynamic career spanning commercial, private, and charter vessels. His education includes training at top maritime institutes in Honolulu, San Diego, and Portland, along with EMT certification in Hawaii.
Specializing in high-end, long-range expeditions, Shawn is known for crafting unforgettable diving, fishing, and adventure experiences in some of the world’s most remote locations. His cruising résumé includes The Bahamas, Florida Keys, Western Caribbean, Galápagos Islands, US West Coast, and Central America, where he is particularly well-versed in the Pacific coasts of Mexico and Costa Rica.
Having called Cabo San Lucas home for over 20 years, Shawn holds the Sea of Cortez close to his heart and considers it the most breathtaking place on Earth. Off duty, he’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys diving, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, off-roading, motorcycles, and spending quality time with family.

Having worked his way up from deckhand to engineer, Gaston is known for being ambitious, detail-oriented, and always ready to help. His background in wood product science and hands-on work in construction and furniture production give him a practical, problem-solving edge that charter guests and crew alike can rely on.
Energetic and approachable, Gaston brings enthusiasm to every task, whether it’s preparing the yacht for a busy charter, assisting with water sports, or ensuring guests feel at ease on deck. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine hospitality make him a valued part of the ADIOS crew.

Having worked on classic sailing yachts in New England, the Caribbean, and beyond, she is skilled at tailoring menus to every guest’s preferences, from elegant fine dining to wholesome, wellness-focused cuisine.
Known for her creativity, organization, and warm personality, Heather delights in turning fresh, local ingredients into memorable meals that reflect the joy of being at sea. Guests can expect thoughtfully crafted menus, beautiful presentation, and an effortless flow between service and relaxation.

Hailing from the Philippines and currently based in Fort Lauderdale, Nicole brings a warm, can-do spirit and over three years of hands-on yachting experience to ADIOS. With a background on vessels ranging from 88’ to 145’, she has proven herself as a dedicated and adaptable stewardess in both private and charter programs.
Known for her sharp eye for detail, graceful service, and positive attitude, Nicole has held sole and leadership roles, managing everything from guest service and provisioning to housekeeping, themed events, and interior turnarounds. She’s also stepped up under pressure, seamlessly taking charge of entire interior departments and supporting engineering and deck teams when needed.
Nicole’s creative flair shines through in her tablescapes and party planning, while her passions for cooking, photography, and art add warmth to every guest experience. With strong time management skills and a drama-free approach, she is committed to delivering exceptional service and keeping the atmosphere on board upbeat and professional.
