Vedran grew up in Krilo, a small coastal town in Dalmatia with a long maritime history. Over the last couple of decades, Krilo has evolved into the Croatian yachting capital. Inspired by his surroundings, Vedran began his maritime journey early. As a child, he spent his summer holidays on board with his dad and later joined the luxury cruise ship ROMANTIC STAR (46m) as a sailor in 2016. While not on board, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Business, with a minor in Finance. His hard work and professionalism saw him promoted through the years, and in 2022, Vedran became a captain. After two successful seasons as a captain, and eight years overall in superyachts, Vedran joined the AETERNA crew in 2024. His love and passion for his profession guarantee a safe and unforgettable time on board AETERNA. Vedran has insider knowledge of the beautiful bays, pristine coves, ancient ports, and activities in his country, and he looks forward to welcoming you on board. Helena grew up in the beautiful coastal city of Split, where she spent her childhood gazing out at the yachts in the bay, dreaming of a life at sea. After finishing Commercial Trade School, she went on to study locally while gaining early hospitality experience as a waitress. She quickly progressed to become a Sales Manager at a car rental company — all before taking the leap into yachting, where she’s truly found her stride. Since joining the industry, Helena has worked her way up from Fourth to Chief Stewardess on a busy 60-metre charter yacht, thriving in a fast-paced, dual-season operation.
Helena is hands-on, organised, and seems to do everything effortlessly — always with a calm smile. She blends professionalism with a naturally warm and friendly approach. Whether she’s managing day-to-day interior duties or stepping up to lead the team during guest trips, Helena ensures everything runs smoothly and guests feel at home. When she’s not on board, you’ll likely find her travelling, socialising, or most importantly, spending time with friends and family.

Always with a warm smile on her face, Dani manages to create a positive and calm environment wherever she goes. She has over 15 years’ experience as a licensed Massage Therapist and spent much of her career working on premium high-end cruise liners. For two years, she had the opportunity to practice at the exclusive wellness centre of Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. Qualified in many different types of massage including Swedish, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Sports massage, Trigger point, Reflexology, etc., she especially emphasizes deep tissue massage to release muscle tension and promote a sense of well-being. Highly successful and popular in all her posts, we are delighted Dani is on board to ensure that you have a relaxing and revitalising stay on board.

Born and raised in the picturesque town of Split, "Jure," as he is affectionately known, has always had a deep fascination with sailing, particularly with ship engines. His maritime journey began over 30 years ago, when as a teenager, he took his first job as a sailor on a one-day excursion boat. It wasn't long before he found himself drawn to the engine room, a move which would define his career. Jure's dedication and hard work saw him progressing from those early days on excursion boats to luxury cruise ships. Eventually, his expertise and experience led him to the world of super yachts, where he has excelled as a Chief Engineer.
In his twenties, Jure spent five years working in Germany, during which he became fluent in German. This international experience not only broadened his horizons but also enriched his professional skills. He admits that his love for the ocean is only surpassed by that for his family and for good food. He delights in sampling the local cuisine wherever he is! With Jure on board, guests can be assured of a smooth and enjoyable voyage, underpinned by decades of expertise and a genuine love for all things maritime.

Ena is both dynamic and dedicated, with a background in tourism and hotel management. Born in 1997 in Antwerpen, Belgium, Ena moved to Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) when she was five years old, after her parents decided to return to their homeland. Ena grew up there and went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Geography. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management at Split University.
Since 2021, she has built on this experience working both as a Deckhand and a stewardess on superyachts such as M/Y KATINA. Ena’s progression in these roles reflects her hard work, attention to detail, and genuine love for guest service. Her hospitality-driven approach ensures guests experience impeccable service and thoughtful touches throughout their time on board. She has excellent communication skills, an eye for presentation, and is always positive and willing to help. Over the last 12 years, she’s combined her passion for helping others with her love for the sea—first training and working as a nurse, and then taking her caring nature onto ships, making sure guests always feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after.
Jovana’s not only calm under pressure but has also put her skills to the test, having participated in peacekeeping missions around the world, where she provided critical care and support in often challenging environments.

Laura is friendly, caring, and attentive, with a particular knack for looking after children and ensuring every guest feels comfortable on board. Her patient nature and genuine enjoyment of working with people make her a valued and trusted member of the crew.

Anton is our young and enthusiastic deckhand. Having grown up on the small but beautiful, island of Rab, located in the northern region of the Adriatic Sea, he has developed a deep affinity for the ocean from a young age. Despite attending school in the city of Rijeka, Anton eagerly awaited each summer, when he would return to his cherished seaside home. In 2020, he started working on a small wooden tourist trawling boat and since then, every winter and summer, he has gone fishing and conducted day-to-day excursions with tourists.
His free time is mostly spent enjoying the waves on the beach and exploring unseen parts of his island with his friends. Known for his unwavering work ethic, positive outlook, and ever-present smile, Anton leaves a lasting impression on all who meet him. He cannot wait to welcome you on board AETERNA and is delighted to be part of the team.

Marino comes from Split, Croatia. His passion for food came around the tender age of nineteen when he started working as a kitchen assistant. Quickly inspired by the quality and taste of fresh produce, he moved to Berlin to further his skills, working in fine-dining restaurants.
Marino has completed internships at 2 Michellin stars restaurant with Tim Raue, Berlin. He was a chef de partie in the luxury five-star hotel Adlon Kempinski, and chef at Italian fine-dining restaurant Francucci. From there, Marino left Berlin and went back to Split, to run his own funky bistro.
His love of travel and discovering new cuisines led to him completing multiple summers on passenger ships and yachts as a permanent and freelance chef. Known as a workaholic, he prefers to keep cooking and after the summer, so he went to Austria (Solden) to work as a Chalet chef in luxury villas.
Marino is passionate about sea food and modern cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. Marino is very aware of different dietary needs and is an ambassador of zero waste and plant-based food.
