Born and raised in South Africa, David now lives in Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK after spending ten years in Antibes, France. With more than twenty years of experience on motor yachts ranging from 32 m to 90m, he has captained prestigious charter vessels including M/Y OKTO (67m) and M/Y THE WELLESLEY (57m). His extensive background also includes time on well-known yachts such as M/Y NERO (90m), M/Y TITANIA (73m), M/Y SAIRAM (52m), and M/Y JEMS (44m). He has now been part of the AFTER YOU programme for four years.
A proud father of three, David is passionate about people, family, and creating memorable experiences for guests. In recent years he has also served as an Owner’s Representative, overseeing three new build projects and strengthening his expertise in yacht operations and management.
David is delighted to be part of this special programme and is looking forward to the upcoming world tour. His warm personality and can-do attitude immediately put guests at ease, and his eighteen years of charter experience have helped him build lasting relationships with charterers, brokers, and agents.
A keen sports enthusiast both on land and at sea, he enjoys sharing his knowledge of unique destinations, local restaurants, and hidden gems. His dedication and professionalism were recognised when he received the International ACREW Award for Best Charter Captain 3000GT in 2018. Guests are always welcome to join him on the bridge to see where the journey unfolds.

Ned is a 21-year-old from the seaside town of Tenby, Wales, where a lifelong connection to the coast inspired his passion for the marine industry. Growing up by the sea fostered a strong work ethic, an appreciation for teamwork, and a love of the outdoors.
A keen sportsman, he enjoys football, tennis, and padel, with sport helping to shape his discipline, resilience, and team-focused approach. Enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to learn, Ned was drawn to yachting by the opportunity to combine his love of the sea with a rewarding career. He is motivated to continue developing his skills and make a positive contribution to every team he joins.
Michael grew up in Amanzimtoti, a small town near Durban, with the ocean just a stone’s throw away. Before yachts, he worked in telecommunications, scaling towers and rooftops to install complex radio and fibre networks. His adventurous side eventually pulled him to the sea in 2019, where he’s since built solid experience on busy charter yachts around the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
On board, Michael is the go-to problem solver with a strong technical background and a Dive Master qualification to match. Outside of engineering, he has a passion for diving, hiking, and photography—skills that add an extra dimension to the guest experience.

Growing up around the ocean in South Africa, Casey has always felt most at home by the water. Before joining yachting, she owned a tourism business and also worked as a kitchen designer, experiences that shaped both her creativity and natural understanding of hospitality.
Cooking at sea combines two of Casey’s biggest passions — food and the ocean — and she brings a relaxed, fresh approach to life in the galley. When she’s not creating meals for guests, she enjoys scuba diving, free diving, running, golf, contemporary art, and film photography, always drawing inspiration from travel, creativity, and life outdoors.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, 'Slav' graduated from the Bulgarian Naval Academy in 2014. He went on to gain more than six years on Cargo vessels, until in 2022, his moved over to yachting. Last year he explored the most remote areas in the world including the Northwest Passage, Greenland and Antarctica on an Ice Class Expedition Yacht.
Slav is the proud father of two children and spends as much of his free time as he can with his family and friends. His relaxed and kind personality brings a sense of calmness to the AFTER YOU team making him a valued and respected crew member.

Svetoslav Simeonov

Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, Mike spent much of his childhood living between Scotland, England, Belgium, Sweden, and the Middle East. His interest in engineering began early while working weekends aboard deep-sea fishing charter boats, where he developed a fascination with marine mechanics and maintenance.
Combining his love of engines with a passion for travel led Mike into yachting, where he has now spent more than two decades at sea. Throughout his career, he has worked aboard a wide range of notable vessels including M/Y INDIAN EMPRESS, M/Y MOSAIQUE, M/Y IDOL, and S/Y PARSIFAL III. Easy-going and highly experienced, Mike enjoys fishing, rugby, and keeping active whenever he’s away from the engine room.

Born and raised in the charming city of Bath, in southwest England, Beth has spent over a decade working in professional kitchens, honing her skills in fine dining restaurants, luxury hotels, and exclusive private events under the guidance of several highly regarded chefs.
Her culinary journey has taken her across Europe, including several seasons in the French Alps, where she catered for private clients in luxury chalets in Méribel, Courchevel, and Val Thorens.
Seeking to combine her love of food with her passion for the ocean, Beth moved into the yachting industry, where she continues to delight guests with her diverse culinary influences. Beth is creative and adventurous and draws inspiration from Moroccan, Mexican, French, and Italian cuisines, often incorporating a distinctive Ottolenghi-style flair into her cooking.
At a young age, Natalie showed exceptional talent in swimming, going on to compete internationally for GB. Her passion for the ocean led her into yachting in 2017, and since then she has explored coastlines across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and North and South America, developing a deep love for life at sea.
For the past 6 years, Natalie has been a core member of the team. Known for her leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, she runs the interior with enthusiasm and professionalism. Guest satisfaction and crew morale are always central to her approach, ensuring every journey is seamless and thoughtfully managed.

Originally from Pretoria, George grew up surrounded by a large family and he is the youngest of five siblings. Because of this, George naturally always gravitates to team sports & activities. After school, he even went on to play professional rugby for The Cheetahs, a well-known provincial team in SA.
George decided to join the yachting industry in 2020, and he loves working as a team with his fellow crew members and has a passion for travelling and water sports. In his spare time, you will find him outside getting involved with water sports, working on his family farm, in the Karoo, where he helps care for wildlife.

Charlotte combines 5 years of yachting experience with an extensive background in wellness, sports therapy, and hospitality. Having worked on both private and charter programmes, Charlotte likes to keep busy and has recently been balancing yachting with managing boutique villas and wellness retreats in Sri Lanka, where she also owns several villas herself. Passionate about health and fitness, she is training for her first Ironman 70.3 and enjoys bringing positive energy and team spirit wherever she works. Her combination of professionalism, discretion, and genuine care for guest’s wellbeing makes her a fantastic addition to the team.
