Danny started his career at sea at the age of 16. He began in the Merchant Navy mainly consisting of ships in the UK’s Oil and Gas Industry. This led him to discover his passion for entering the Yachting industry. Danny has now been in yachting for many years and has never looked back since! He has been onboard Motor Yacht Air for over 12 years.

Hobbies: Playing golf, guitar, spending time with family, music festivals and darts.

Nick grew up in South Shields in the North of England. It was 2013 when he started his career at sea doing his engineering, training for the Merchant Navy onboard commercial vessels around the globe. After completing his studies, Nick transitioned from land to Cruise Ships for around 3 years before he finally decided to make the jump to the Yachting Industry in 2018.

Hobbies: Football and spending time with family and friends.

Dane was born in Cornwall and moved to the West Coast of Australia at the age of 4 where he was raised. It was here that his passion for surfing and life on the ocean began! He started his yachting journey at the age of 21 and has since travelled to many areas of the world in search of new places and experiences. Dane is now based in Newcastle, Australia where he lives with his wife and 3 children. He has also completed his studies for a Chief Mate and Masters, he is excited to be on board.

Hobbies: Surfing, spending time with family and his children.

Alistair holds 4.5 years of yachting experience. Originally from Aylesbury, UK, he holds an impressive range of qualifications including Yachtmaster Offshore, GMDSS, ECDIS, EDH, and several RYA certifications. His previous experience includes time on both private and charter motor yachts ranging from 37m to 57m, operating primarily in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. Alistair transitioned into yachting after realizing that office jobs weren't for him, seeking a more hands-on career with opportunities to travel. Outside of work, he enjoys playing padel, golf, five-a-side football, and hiking. A dedicated Southampton FC fan, he loves relaxing by the pool, watching matches, catching up on TV series, and spending time with friends and family.

Andrea is starting off his yachting career as a Sous Chef, bringing his experience from Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hospitality. He holds a professional culinary diploma from ALMA. Driven by a passion for hospitality and culinary growth, Andrea joined yachting to challenge himself, expand his culinary expertise, and gain a new experience in a dynamic environment. Outside of work, he enjoys football, Formula 1, fitness, traveling, and exploring new cultures.

Originally from Bournemouth, UK, Tyler speaks both English and French and holds several qualifications including Yachtmaster Offshore, Master 200 (commercially endorsed), and GMDSS, among others. Tyler began his career as a marine engineering apprentice at 16 before becoming a chase boat skipper in the South of France at 17. Since then, he’s worked aboard notable vessels such as and M/Y Project Star (77M), cruising regions like Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Red Sea. Tyler is passionate about diving, football, food, and even Lego building, Tyler enjoys staying active through boxing, 5-a-side football, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. What started as a love for travel has evolved into a committed career in yachting, where he aims to leave a positive impact and support newcomers to the industry.

Hobbies: Diving, football, lego builder and collector

After eight years working across a diverse range of hospitality settings, Ailish transitioned into private security, where she spent two years developing strong situational awareness and discretion. She was later introduced to the world of yachting. In addition to her hospitality and security background, Ailish is a qualified masseuse and beautician with over seven years of hands-on experience in various land-based settings. Her well -rounded skill set allows her to deliver exceptional service with confidence and care.

Hobbies: Reading, baking, exploring & travelling.

Justin was born and raised in Cape Town, here he grew up with a love for water and surfing, Justin studied business management along with entrepreneurship whilst he competed in the surfing championship nationals, making him a world record breaker in surfing and he also owned a surf shop. This hobby sparked Justin’s curiosity into the Yachting industry, it wasn’t long before he decided to take the jump and ride the wave into his new career of which he has now been a big part of for the past 9 years!

Hobbies: Fishing, surfing and exploring the world.

Nicola was born in Cape Town, South Africa. During her studies, she worked as a lifeguard on some of Cape Town’s best beaches. Once she secured her degree, Nicola went on to become a year 5 primary school teacher. During which, she discovered the yachting industry, the temptation of a new life, living on the sea, exploring new places and the adventure that awaits was exactly what she decided to embark on. In 2022, Nicola transitioned into working on Sailing and Motor Yachts around the world and has never looked back. She looks forward to welcoming you onboard!

Hobbies: Swimming, baking, reformer pilates and travelling

Oliver grew up on a farm and initially worked in sports turf management, ending his horticultural career at the prestigious Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. However, Oliver has always had a passion for helicopters and has been flying since 1999. His first employment commenced during the summer of 2007 as a Helicopter Flight Instructor in Florida. Since then, Oliver gained several years of experience flying in the challenging UK Offshore Oil & Gas industry before becoming a UK Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot, from which he has many interesting stories to share! Oliver has been flying with Private yachts for over 5 years which included M/Y Andromeda & M/Y Ulysses before joining us in March 2022.

Hobbies: Tinkering with woodwork, spending time with his
wife and 3 children, mowing stripes into his own lawn and keeping fit!
