Originally from the SW of England but raised on a boat in Marmaris, Turkey it only came naturally to Stacey that she would develop a passion for the ocean. She joined the yachting industry at the age of 18, working on yachts ranging from 30 to 64m. Yachting has taken Stacey to many exciting destinations throughout the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, across the Atlantic, and all the way north to Greenland.

In 2013, Stacey took a break from yachting to complete a degree in Product Design in the UK but it wasn’t long until the ocean called her back and she hasn’t looked back since.
In addition to her passion for the sea, Stacey loves photography, drawing, hiking, and exploring new places. Being an outdoor lover, when not working on yachts she lives in Finland exploring the great outdoors.

Kyle Is from Leeds, England. Before entering the yachting industry as a seaman, Kyle studied Sport Science at Liverpool University where he gained honours. He used his degree to gain his first position on boats as a Personal Trainer. After 6 years gaining valuable experience and qualifications, Kyle took on his first Captains position on a 82’ Predator based out of Palma, before it was later sold.
Kyle gained his Chief Mate license in March 2022 and is now not far off gaining his Masters license.
Kyle is a dedicated and professional yachtsman, who prides himself in attaining the highest standard possible on everything he does. Kyle brings with him a keen sense of humor and is a good natured enchanting character.
His hobbies include water sports, fishing, keeping fit, studying and scuba diving.

Kyle Spargo

Bianca grew up in a seaside village of Cape Town, famed for crayfish and mussels and started learning to cook and bake bread from a young age in a food loving family. Working in hospitality throughout her formal education, it was after completing a Bachelor of Science and Business Management degree that she decided to move into hospitality full time and pursue her culinary career. Bianca has been in the yachting industry for nine years, working on both charter and private vessels cruising the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Pacific North West. In her time off she has extensively traveled the world and staged in many kitchens, such as Blue Elephant in Thailand, under female sushi master Yuki Gomi and Michelin Star Restaurant Marcus in London. In 2019, Bianca placed first in the Concours de Chefs at the Antigua Charter show in the 126-159 ft category. Bianca combines her love of cooking, studies in human life science and passion for exploring new cultures and cuisines to provide a unique, healthy and memorable culinary experience on board. In her free time you will find Bianca doing yoga, at the beach, hiking or exploring local restaurants and food markets to find new ingredients and inspiration.

Heather Kershaw hails from the sunny East Coast of South Africa, specifically KwaZulu-Natal. With a decade of experience in the yachting industry, she has had the privilege of working on various yachts, exploring diverse countries and seas across the globe. Her journey has been filled with joy, adventure, and the deep satisfaction of creating unforgettable experiences for guests. Heather is passionate about ensuring that every guest not only enjoys their time onboard but also departs with a renewed sense of wonder and appreciation for the unique destinations they visit.
In addition to her role on the yacht, Heather is a certified Breathwork Meditation instructor. She deeply believes in the transformative power of breathwork to promote relaxation, mental clarity, and overall well-being. She is excited to bring this passion onboard, offering sessions that enhance the guests’ experience—whether to help them unwind, find balance, or simply enjoy a moment of mindfulness amidst the luxury of their journey.
Outside of her yachting career, Heather actively volunteers at retreat festivals and leads breathwork sessions for rehabilitation centers and corporate organizations. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, reading, practicing yoga, and engaging with friends and family, all of which contribute to her personal and professional development.

Dominique (Dom) is a native of south Africa, spending her youth growing up in beautiful Cape Town. Dominique’s mother and grandmother are very good home cooks and have taught her the love and passion that goes into cooking. Bringing the family together around beautiful meals.
Dominique chose to expand her studies in the culinary arts. With her education and natural talent she rapidly gained a wealth of knowledge, moving quickly up the ranks.. She has been fortunate enough to be trained by some highly talented chefs while employed at the most prestigious restaurants in Cape Town prior to making her move into the private sector.
For the last eight years Dominique has continued to improve upon her culinary talents while working as a chef in the yachting industry. This challenging yet rewarding career path has opened Dominique’s ability to see first-hand the culinary styles and techniques from around the world. For the last eight years she has travelled and lived along the French Riviera, Spain, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Greece, Untied States, the Caribbean islands, and everywhere in between. The industry allows her to gain knowledge and inspiration from local cuisine and flavours. Dominique’s creative talents extend beyond the galley, she enjoys sketching and painting in her free time.

Howie has enjoyed sailing and being on the sea since the impressionable age of five. “As the son of a son of a sailor. The sea’s in my veins, my tradition remains.” His most memorable experiences have been while on the sea.
Howie has extensive cruising experience having sailed all parts of the globe. He has logged over 250,000 nautical miles, done 18 N. Atlantic crossings, 2 Pacific crossings and even the Indian Ocean. Thoroughly knowledgeable in all areas of the Med (East & West), Adriatic and the Caribbean ensures guests a memorable trip regardless of location.
Howie believes that building a positive and exciting yachting program and crew helps develop and maintain a yacht’s long-term charter value. He works hard to develop that value and reputation through professionalism and excellence in every aspect of running and maintaining the vessel.
He knows that a well-managed vessel is a safer, more efficient and more harmonious environment for guests and crew.
Howie represents the best in yachting by using his extensive knowledge of the business and cruising areas. His goal is always to make the charter experience rewarding and enjoyable for all guests.

Katie has developed a deep expertise in providing exceptional service throughout her career on the water working on yachts ranging from 34m right up to 134m.
Growing up on the south coast of England, she has always felt a strong connection to the ocean. As a Chief Stewardess, she is dedicated to creating memorable experiences by delivering impeccable service with calmness, elegance, and attention to detail. Katie takes great pride in putting a smile on people’s faces and striving to do her best in every aspect of her role.
With her previous background in the healthcare industry, spending over 2 years working in a trauma and orthopedic ward, it shaped her passion for caring for others. This experience has instilled in her a strong sense of empathy and a commitment to the well-being of those she serves. Outside of work, Katie finds peace and tranquillity in watching the sunrise and sunset, reminding her of the importance of balance and serenity in both her personal and professional life.
Kathleen (Katie) McLaren

Jomar is originally from the Philippines and moved to Italy when he was 17 years old. He’s been in the yachting industry for almost 10 years now working on different size boats ranging from 35m to 70m taking different roles as engineer/deckhand. He is very passionate about studying how engines and mechanical things work which then leads him to hold a degree in marine engineering. His role in M/Y Akula is mainly on deck which is to assist and interact with the guests during water-sports activities and the whole duration of their stay. Due to his interest in engineering, he is also responsible for assisting the chief engineer onboard.
During his time off, he likes to travel to remote places and ride his bike on the twisty roads around Tuscany.

Jomar Cleofe

Stuart joined the British Merchant Navy at 17-ears-old, spending a little under 6yrs sailing the high sea on container ships, car carriers and cruise ships before swapping over to yachts.
He is well travelled having circumnavigated the globe 4 times , done numerous crossings, including the southern pacific through Cape horn and more recently the North West Passage from east to west.
Stuart has worked on a variety of yachts from 32m semi racing sloops to 75m motor yachts, both Private and Charter. His most recent position being a full ice class explorer yacht completing more than 12,000 miles at sea off the beaten track, exploring above and below the sea as Stuart is also a qualified Submersible pilot for U-Boat Worx subs.
In his free time back in Scotland, Stuart likes to spend quality time with family and friends or else you find him in the garage/workshop either working on cars or driving cars. He is also a keen golfer and hiker when time allows.

Taya grew up on a farm in Scotland. Naturally, with her love of the outdoors and animals she progressed into Equestrian Show jumping from an early age. Taya competed in this for around 10 years and then decided she wanted to travel, leading her to yachting. Having been in the industry since 2020 starting on M/Y Slipstream and having worked on renowned charter yachts since. Taya has loved every minute and can’t wait to progress further within her career. With her bubbly personality and great eye for detail, Taya is always ensuring that the guests are enjoying themselves and having a trip of a lifetime onboard.
