Mike is a determined Captain who always aims for one hundred percent. He grew up on family boats and brings over 20 years of captain experience, which has made him confident in all areas of running a professional charter yacht.

After spending 10 years working for the same owner on 30m motor yacht and then most recently on 35m motor yacht, Mike is excited to ensure an unforgettable charter experience onboard ALEGRIA II.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, spending time with his two children, and volunteering. He was a member of the Mana Volunteer Coastguard where he was appointed the training Officer role.

Vanessa is an experienced and dedicated Chief Stewardess with a strong background in hospitality and a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Tourism. She began her career in luxury hotels across Brazil before moving into the yachting industry, where she quickly discovered a passion for delivering exceptional service and guest care.

Having worked internationally with guests from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, Vanessa is known for her professionalism, excellent organisational skills, and warm, approachable manner. She takes great pride in maintaining high standards across all areas of interior management, including housekeeping, table service, and guest interaction.

Vanessa is consistently cheerful, attentive, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure a seamless and memorable charter experience. She is committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both guests and crew alike.

Matthew has a deep-rooted memory of food always bringing his family together and this was the driving force behind training to become a chef. He has been cooking since he was 15 years old and has been managing and operating a variety of kitchens over the years, both on land and at sea.

Matt has a passion for sailing and used to own a small sailboat in Canada. He has a natural love for the sea and travelling, so cheffing on yachts was an obvious career path. He takes pride in delivering high quality dishes and giving his guests a special experience.

Rafaela is a stewardess with a strong background in hospitality and guest care. She brings a calm, friendly presence and is known for her easygoing nature and attentive service. Dedicated to creating a smooth and enjoyable onboard experience, she is always ready to assist wherever needed. Fluent in multiple languages, Rafaela easily connects with guests from around the world, helping to foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere onboard. In her free time, she enjoys being near the water—snorkeling, scuba diving, and always on the lookout for beautiful places to explore and photograph.

Milton is an experienced, reliable, and approachable deckhand. With over 10 years of experience on luxury yachts across the Mediterranean, he brings a strong work ethic and a friendly attitude. Confident in all deck operations and water sports set-up, Milton consistently delivers high standards with a calm, team-oriented approach. He quickly builds excellent rapport with both guests and crew, always maintaining professionalism with a smile. Outside of yachting, Milton is passionate about travel, nature, and staying active. A keen enthusiast of outdoor sports and water activities, he’s always up for a paddleboarding session or a sunset swim. His adventurous spirit and natural curiosity make him a great companion both on and off the boat.
