With more than 15 years of experience in marine engineering, navigation, and yacht operations, Captain Hugo Lisbona brings a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and guest-focused service to Alexa of London. Holding a commercially endorsed Master 200GT license and supported by extensive engineering qualifications, Hugo has successfully operated and managed both private and charter yachts throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Red Sea, and Atlantic regions.
Having served aboard vessels ranging from luxury sailing yachts to 45-meter superyachts, Hugo is recognized for his calm professionalism, strong safety culture, and hands-on approach to vessel management. His background as both Captain and Engineer allows him to oversee every aspect of yacht operations, from navigation and crew leadership to complex technical systems, refits, and maintenance programs.
A multilingual professional fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German, Hugo has lived in 12 countries and worked with international owners, guests, and crew from diverse cultural backgrounds. His career includes transatlantic crossings, Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising, regatta participation, major refit management, and the successful delivery and operation of charter yachts worldwide.

Mark Darabos brings over 20 years of maritime and operational experience to Alexa of London. Having served aboard a wide range of sailing and motor yachts in both private and charter environments, he is recognized for his practical approach, reliability, and commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards.
Throughout his career, Mark has been involved in yacht operations, vessel deliveries, charter management, and expedition cruising, gaining extensive experience with onboard systems, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and technical support. His broad understanding of yacht operations enables him to work seamlessly across deck and engineering departments while ensuring vessels remain safe, efficient, and guest-ready at all times.
An experienced diver with more than 1,500 logged dives and a lifelong passion for sailing, Mark approaches every challenge with professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail. His calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to perform effectively under pressure make him a valued member of the Alexa of London team.

Roxanne brings a wealth of hospitality experience to Alexa of London, combining professionalism with a warm, guest-focused approach. A qualified yoga instructor, she grew up on the waters of British Columbia, sailing her own 27ft yacht and actively participating in marine ecological projects - an upbringing that shaped both her love of the ocean and her respect for the environment.
After a decade in senior marketing roles, Roxanne transitioned into yachting to pursue a more hands-on, people-centered career. Her strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and natural ability to anticipate guest needs ensure a seamless onboard experience. Whether leading a morning yoga session or providing attentive service throughout the day, Roxanne creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere that enhances every moment on board Alexa of London.
