About ALMA DE MAR
This one of a kind yacht was built in 2020 and customized by VZ shipyard and her owner; launched in 2023. With her bright interiors and spacious cabins, extensive deck spaces and sun areas, Alma de Mar can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 comfortable cabins. Her hydraulic submersible swimming platform is an optional that always make the difference. Looked after by 2 professional and experienced members of crew.
The main deck features large windows that provide abundant natural light throughout the salon, complemented by neutral flooring and cream-coloured seating. A bright, well-positioned galley is located between the salon and the stairs leading to the lower deck.
On the lower deck, Alma De Mar accommodates guests in three ensuite cabins: a full-beam Owner’s cabin amidships with double bed, a VIP cabin forward with double bed, and a twin cabin aft.
The flybridge offers generous space with a dining area and sunpads, ideal for relaxing throughout the day. The yacht is also equipped with a hydraulic submersible swim platform, allowing easy access to the water and tender operations.

Elio was born and raised in Naples. He is a polite, determined young professional with a strong desire to grow within the yachting industry.
He built his career in hospitality, working as a hotel manager from 2009, when, at a very young age, he began learning the principles of guest care and service excellence. A versatile individual always looking for new challenges, Elio decided to combine his professional background with his passion for the sea and for cuisine.
In 2022, he was employed as a deckhand on a 70-foot motor yacht, and in 2023 he worked as a mooring man and general factotum at a marina in Naples. During this time, he continued to nurture his passion for cooking by attending training courses and catering for private events on occasion.
In 2024, Elio joined MY WAY as chef and deckhand, working alongside Captain Tommaso. They completed two successful seasons together and are now reunited on ALMA DE MAR, working once again for the same Owner.
Elio is highly motivated and genuinely enjoys looking after guests with the utmost care, drawing on his many years of experience in the hospitality sector. He is continuously refining his culinary techniques and enjoys experimenting with flavours and combinations that enhance the quality and taste of the carefully selected ingredients he uses.

Captain Tommaso was born and raised in Naples. He graduated from the Amerigo Vespucci Nautical Institute and began his maritime career with the Italian Navy in 2011–2012, covering several operational roles.
From 2013 onwards, he collaborated with local Neapolitan charter companies, mainly operating daily charters as Captain on small yachts. This experience allowed him to develop a deep understanding of hospitality and customer care, while also strengthening his adaptability and problem-solving skills in a variety of situations.
In 2022, Tommaso met the current Owner and joined MY WAY, a 23-metre explorer yacht available for charter in Southern Italy, initially as deckhand and all-round crew member. From 2024 through 2025, he served as Captain of MY WAY. The yacht is scheduled to undergo a major refit in 2026.
Tommaso now takes command of ALMA DE MAR (same Owner), and he is always happy to continue working in the charter market, which has long been a source of motivation and passion for him. Naturally kind, approachable, and attentive, he is fully committed to meeting his guests’ needs. Having been born and raised in Southern Italy, he has an excellent knowledge of the area, where he also learned to navigate.
During the 2024 and 2025 seasons, Tommaso worked closely with Elio, deckhand and chef, with whom he built a strong relationship based on mutual respect, trust, and professional and personal esteem.
Tommaso’s mother tongue is Italian, and he speaks fluent English.
