Marta Cabieces, born in 1985, is the Deckhand / Stewardess of M/Y ALMAR II.
A reliable and dedicated Deckhand/Stewardess, Marta brings a strong background in luxury hospitality, guest services, and operational support within demanding high-end environments. With a professional attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a natural ability to work under pressure, she ensures that guests enjoy a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience on board.
Her maritime experience includes serving as Deck/Stew aboard M/Y Elena 9 during the 2025 season, where she gained valuable experience in luxury yacht operations, combining exterior maintenance, guest service, housekeeping, and daily support for the smooth running of the vessel.
Prior to joining the yachting industry, Marta developed extensive hospitality skills while working in prestigious five-star hotels, including Six Senses, Aguas de Ibiza, and Cala Saona. Her experience covered luxury housekeeping, room service, minibar operations, and personalised guest care, always maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, discretion, and service.
Marta’s professional background also includes roles in security operations and airport ground handling, environments that strengthened her discipline, organisation, and ability to perform efficiently under strict procedures and high-pressure situations. Her previous service in the Spanish Navy’s Mountain Infantry further reflects her resilience, teamwork, physical endurance, and commitment to responsibility.
Fully certified with valid STCW and ENG1 certificates, as well as RYA Powerboat Level 2, RYA PWC, and Food Hygiene qualifications, Marta is well prepared for both deck and interior duties. Her versatile skill set allows her to adapt easily to the dynamic requirements of private and charter yachts.

Adrián Pérez Herrero, born in 1989, is the Captain of M/Y ALMAR II.
A highly qualified and versatile yacht captain, Adrián brings extensive experience in luxury yachting, commercial maritime operations, and international search and rescue missions. With a strong technical background and a Master 1600 GT licence, he combines exceptional navigational skills, leadership, and a meticulous approach to vessel management, safety, and guest service.
Throughout his maritime career, Adrián has commanded and operated a wide variety of vessels, ranging from luxury motor yachts to professional rescue ships. His yachting experience includes captaining vessels such as the Sunseeker Predator 60 TANI, the Pershing 5X, and the Sunseeker Camargue 50, with extensive navigation across the Mediterranean, particularly along the Spanish coast and the Balearic Islands. His background also includes charter operations aboard a 32-metre yacht in the Balearics, yacht maintenance, refit assistance, and multiple vessel deliveries.
In addition to his yachting career, Adrián has built significant experience in commercial and rescue operations as Chief Officer aboard the Guardamar rescue fleet, participating in demanding SAR missions in the Mediterranean. This experience has strengthened his decision-making abilities, crisis management skills, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism at sea.
Holding qualifications as Master 1600 GT, Officer of the Watch 3000 GT, Port Captain, and Ship Security Officer, Adrián possesses extensive expertise in navigation, electronic chart systems (ECDIS), ARPA radar, GMDSS communications, advanced firefighting, medical care, rescue craft operations, MARPOL regulations, and shipboard safety management.
A natural leader with excellent organisational skills, Adrián creates a professional and positive atmosphere on board, ensuring efficient operations while delivering the discreet and personalised service expected in the luxury yachting industry. His experience as a nautical instructor further demonstrates his ability to train, guide, and work effectively with crew members and guests.

Aina Mayo Abad, born in 2001 in Spain, is the Chef of M/Y ALMAR.
Anexperienced yacht chef, Aina is currently responsible for the galley operations aboard M/Y ALMAR, delivering refined Mediterranean cuisine with a strong emphasis on local Ibiza flavours and seasonal products. She combines professional yacht industry experience with a creative, guest-focused culinary approach, ensuring tailored dining experiences.
Her cooking style is deeply inspired by local Mediterranean and Ibizan gastronomy, focusing on fresh seafood, traditional Spanish recipes, healthy cuisine, and modern presentations. She is particularly known for her expertise in paellas, tapas-style dining, and personalised menus that highlight the quality of local ingredients. Her pastry training also allows her to offer elegant and creative desserts on board, adding a refined finishing touch to her menus.
Within the yacht industry, Aina has developed solid hands-on experience across a variety of vessels, including motor yachts, catamarans, and private charters in Ibiza. She has worked on 91-foot motor yachts during busy summer charter seasons, as well as private luxury yachts such as the Astondoa 102 DOLCE VITA IV in the 2025 season. Her previous onboard roles also include deckhand and hospitality work, giving her a complete understanding of yacht operations, teamwork, and guest service beyond the galley.
In parallel, she has built strong culinary foundations ashore, including professional experience at Es Ventall Ibiza, where she refined her skills in modern Mediterranean cuisine, as well as a pastry specialisation completed in 2025. This combination of restaurant and yacht experience allows her to maintain consistency, creativity, and adaptability in all environments.
Aina holds a Technician in Culinary Arts and Gastronomy, along with maritime certifications including Basic Safety Training in Maritime Safety, Passenger Ship Certificate, Maritime Medical Certificate, and an International Seaman’s Book, ensuring full compliance with professional yacht industry standards.
Fluent in Spanish and English, she communicates effectively with international guests and crew. Calm under pressure, highly organised, and detail-oriented, she is recognised for maintaining a smooth and efficient galley operation even during demanding charters.
